Vortexlover2
Last year I found out that the Flight of Fear was formally named The Outer Limits; Flight of Fear, and the Outer Limits was taken off the because the show, Outer Limits, was canceled. Today I was flipping through the channels to see what was on TV, the only 2 letters I know, and the name of the show on channel 45, Sci Fi caught my eye. The Outer Limits. So I ask you: Should the name Outer Limits come back to Flight of Fear, or not?
Captain Picard
I think NBC/Universal or MGM is the owners of it, so no I don't think so.
BoddaH1994
The reason why they changed the name was because they sold the rights to the Sci Fi channel. It has nothing to do with wheather or not the program is playing or not. Even if it does end up under the Viacom umbrella, I wouldn't expect to see it back. Side note: The movie you watch in the hanger was slightly different when it was Outer Limits and it is now: First of all, the sequence that starts off with the aliens saying, "Imagine a world where the improfections of human existance are a thing of the past..." That part was different. It started with the Outer Limits theme, "Do not adjust your television set... we control the vertical and the horizontal... we can take a single image and multiply it a thousand time, or magnify one to crystal clarity and beyond." Anyway, when they did the whole "verticle" and "horizontal" speal, the ship used to project either a vertical or horizontal line onto the wall facing the entrance to the ship. That was extremely cool. Also, another minor thing that was different was the part where they play the joke on staff sergent. When he pulled the little TV away, as opposed to the screen just being static, it had the Outer Limits logo. Just thought I'd share.
