IF past is prologue, and it may not be these days, prices will increase slowly but substantially as time goes on. We KNOW pricing goes up the first time on November 12, by ten dollars for the platinum passes, for example, and the free parking offer may well go away. IF they allow upgrades, based on Cedar Fair's past practices, you will get credit only for what you actually paid, pay the then current price, lose any perks no longer in effect and have to pay a processing or upgrade fee.

I, for one, wouldn't risk it.
