flightoffear1996
What the world is pride night? You have to be an employee to get in or can you have your season pass and what are the hours and rides scheduled to open?

CoastersNSich
You can purchase tickets at the gate, and straight people are welcome... just expect to be kicked out if you're complaining and/or making a fuss. In other words, be tolerant. Of course, tickets can be purchased in advance for a lower price, and season passes are not accepted. IMO if money were not so tight, I'd go to Pride Night because there's practically no lines for the rides, and - may I say it - overall friendlier park guests. hausty1983
So people i'm sure will be telling there friends to come on pride night and see what its like i'm sure yeah... I will be there definately I have a good time and have fun, the lines are short just a walk on for everything it beats going on a weekend or normal day. I think a lot of people are just rude, nasty these days its 2007 so its not surprising to me how people act these days that have to stop and stare because people of the same sex are holding hands but its ok we just are ourselves all the time

hausty1983
I think a lot of it has to do with the way people were raised really, how they learned to be polite, treat others with respect, how you learned to be able to be getting along with everyone and not having to be mean and make fun of someone because they are different then you because they are fat, geeky, skinny, built funny or whatever you came up with to make fun of someone you didn't really like or get along with. I'm always polite because I was raised that way and i'm sure a lot of people have their own ways of treating people with respect or being friendly striking up a coversation. Its all about the person that you are and how you treat people. I'm always myself and never judge someone for who they are and what they want to believe in or do in their life. CoasterXtreme
I think it is the best time to go to the park this will be my 3rd year. It is just nice to have a time in the park when I can kiss my partner and not have to worry about kids seeing and or adults that don't except it. If you have not been on pride night and you do not have a problem with the gay lifestyle then you should go.
PKIVortex
I would go, but I have to work. When I worked at KI I worked 3 of them, and I went as a guest in 2002. I also don't really care to shell out 40 bucks just to enjoy KI for 6 hours, even though I know the money does go to a good cause.

It's sad that so many have to live in a situation that this is sill a concern. It's primarily a reason that I now live in Atlanta. I can walk right down Peachtree or Piedmont at any time of the day or night. Hold hands with anyone I choose, and no one will bat an eye. Keep up the battle boys and girls. Things have changed and advanced quite a bit in my 39 years.
Delirium_Guy
I'll be there with my partner as well. Anyone want to meet up for a ride or two? I can attest to the short lines, I went a few years ago and lines were non-existent. I'm looking forward to a few Firehawk rides! - Todd
WooferBearATL
Ya'll need to take pics and post em! That way I can live Vicariously through seeing the event. I've gotten all kinds of garbage from buddies askin when I was plannin a trip up to KI. Well, since the purchase of a new house that did not happen this year. Will deffinitely have to do Pride Night in addition to a regular visit or two next season.
