I believe from $3.50 to $3.00 for a twenty ounce bottle. Same thing happened at Carowinds. Perhaps they FINALLY found the public DOES have price resistance at some point.

That is true A 20oz bottle costs 3.00 from a machine. However if you go to a stand or inside a shop that same bottle will cost 3.50. I don't know why, but I've found that out after just opening my newly bought bottle of coca-cola from a vendor and happened to walk by a machine only to see it's cheaper.

Perhaps because you can tell a bottle in a shop or at a human vendor is or isn't cold. I bought exactly ONE bottle of (Diet) Pepsi at Cedar Point this summer from a machine. It was about as cold as warm dishwater is after half an hour, which is to say it wasn't even a wee bit cold. So, I walked up front to GR to get my money back...only to find out that GR doesn't have a location at the front gate any more, and I'd have to go to administrative services to get my money back. At that point, I vouched to never again buy soda at a Cedar Fair park. And you know what? I haven't. Not one. Nor do I intend to.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...and no, it won't happen again. They lost a lot of money on THIS customer who used to buy several sodas a day at each Cedar Fair park I go to. Whatever...
