Music at the Haunt

Is it just me, or was the music at Halloween Haunt a little disappointing? I don't find Eminem, Evanescence, Shinedown, or Beyonce that creepy. It would've bee better IMO if they used music that helped with the scary nature of the park (which you did hear on and off, but more off than on I would say). I think more horror movie music would have been nice (I did hear the Psycho theme, and a few others). I think noise music also would have complemented the atmosphere very well. I also wished that the sirens were louder in Death Row. It would've made the trance like feeling even more intense.

I wholly agree. The music in Coney Mall was great... like a spooky carnival. But then I went back by FoF and FH, and there was Beyonce... That just took all the fear in me and turned it into annoyance and no fear. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

In Coney Maul, I loved the CarnEVIL music, I sat down in the area for a bit just to listen to it. But that song sung by the little girl with all those scratches in between- really cheapened the whole event.

And yes, I'm still waiting for Thriller.

Everything about Thiller is great, I think most would agree that it is a true GOOD NATURED yet chilling song from the creepy voiceover to sound effects to the great vocals.

Also, Michael Jackson is one of my favorite singers of all time.

Alas, Thriller holds a very special place in my memories. A few years ago it was about 11:30 and I was going for a night ride on The Beast during the last time I was at Fear Fest, and the music video came over the TV's...EVERYONE in the line turned and were absolutely glued to the TV. Especially those in the 30yr crowd, and it was awesome to see people start howling and dancing in the queue line, it was just one of those special chills down your arms moments that I will forever cherish!

Also Thriller is one of the first CD's that I ever owned...even 12 years after its original release!
