Six Flags: Next Stop is Bankruptcy?

Featured Replies

It wouldn't suprise me one bit,Snyder promised change & so far has failed to deliver on that promise....the parks are just as neglected as ever, and poorly managed/run but the only "change" has been the pricing for admissions, parking, food & merchandise.

But is it not safe to say that there has been more of an emphasis on family entertainment with the new leadership at Six Flags? Gone are the days of building large coaster after large coaster while neglecting family and children attractions. I mean, just look at the number of Wiggles World and Thomas areas that Six Flags parks have been installing the last couple of years.

I suggest visiting a Six Flags park rather than perpetuating old stereotypes.

The Six Flags of Old is simply not the Six Flags that exists today.

I would venture to say that Six Flags (and I can't believe it's true) is in a better position to stay out of Bankruptcy than Cedar Fair.

^ I don't get what you are saying

What I'm saying is that the remaining Six Parks are pulling things together.

They're operating smoothly, making advances and seem to be in a position to recover if they maintain the course.

What I'm saying is that CF is under a huge amount of debt and in a much more tenuous situation than the Six parks at this point.

Both of the chains have a rocky road ahead.
