AintNutinElse2Do
So the LA Times lists Screamscape as a source.... intereseting?
Cory Butcher
I don't find it too interesting, as much as people want to get on screamscape for all the rumors that are posted, once news has been announced, Screamscape posts that as well, as official news from the parks. This makes screamscape a secondary source, that the LA Times felt so compelled to use. nothing interesting here, just the usual practice of finding a source that has the info you want and using it in an article. CoastersRZ
Except for the fact that Screamscape also reports rumors. And last time I checked, Cedar Point hasn`t announced what they are installing in 2008 yet. So what the LATimes put in their article, was not news coming from the park that Screamscape had posted. It was in fact a rumor that Screamscape had posted. That there is the reason that Screamscape is not always a credible source to cite for all the latest amusement park happenings. Just because Kings Island was not listed in that article does not necessarily mean we won`t see something at the park in 2008 that was not there in 2007. With the revival that live entertainment had at the park last year, I`m sure we`re bound to see some changes, based on feedback the park received about last year`s shows. I`m sure 2008 will be an even better year for Kings Island live entertainment!
Browntggrr
CP hasn't officially announced their plans for 2008. But from the construction pics on the CP blog, combined with the numerous rumors it is quite obvious that the are renovating the central kids area. Quite possibly with some of the kids rides from GL. It is also supposed to have the name "Planet Snoopy". http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/blog/...f4-16336d4ae5b5
