soviettraitor
I've been to other park around the country and some for there Halloween Celebration thing have made some of the coasters run backwards.Think it would be a good idea to run The Beast backwards for Fearfest. beastdude
I would like it but it might be a little rough on the back. This might have been discused before. Check past topics you should find your answer their.
SOB_TOM
Lets see: The mechanical/wood coaster guys would have to rebuild the trains, and reverse everything on them. That would take (my guess) a month or two to do one train, so that coaster would have a long line and guests would complain. Not to mention that during the day, before FearFest opened, that car would be sidetracked all day, so long lines again. Dont think its going to happen. upstop
I think it would be cool if they just turned the main lights for the coasters off and added fog, red, green, or black lighting and strob effects in tunnels.
KIemployeeforlife
they cannot do that though because there are people who have asma and cannot deal with fog, and others who may have a seizure with the stobe lights

Although that is a good idea, from what I understand coasters have to me very fine specifications in order to run backwards. It's simply dangerous to have a ride go backwards when it's impossible to predict sudden moves.
flightoffear1996
Yes that is true cause my dad hurt his back on The Racer and it took him 3 months to nurse his back to heath. I dont think you could put any coaster backwards at PKI cept the ones that already are.
Knoxville
I think it would be cool if they just turned the main lights for the coasters off and added fog, red, green, or black lighting and strob effects in tunnels. They do turn off the lights on the coasters.

Captain Picard
They could drag in some road kill for the smell of the dead.
upstop
But isn't that why they put "artificial fog and strobe lighting is used in this attraction" on the warning signs? (also lights were on all over the park last year) Maybe the survey results will change that! The Dark House, Psycho Path and Curse of the Crypt mazes have some fog in them and Maze of Madness has a zillion strobe lights inside. I have severe asthma and artificial fog only makes it worse, but if you take precautions, such as medication and or hand held aspirators it won't effect you as much. I can't answer for those that have epilepsy, but if you heed the warning signs, just as for all of the rides, you would avoid any possible injuries. I for one don't want MY ailment to stop everyone from having fun. So I say "more fog and strobes, PKI." I'll just find a "breathing spot" if things get too bad. DirtySteve
The last year I went, there was so much fog around The Vortex, you couldn't see anything at all. Probably the best ride I've ever had on The Vortex
upstop
I remember that year.....Vortex was awesome. You could only see the lights on the lift hill and nothing else. I hope it's that way again this year!
