FOFirehawkFAN
I was just noticing that Valley Fair seems to be differiteiated from other Cedar Fair parks in that it has no Peanuts themeing. How long has this park been owned by the chain does anyone know? I was thinking maybe if the Nick themeing is to venture outside of the former Paramount parks this may be the first park we see it at. Anyone have any comments?
Gordon Bombay
I'm not exactly sure why it doesn't have any Peanuts theming. However, Mall of America is not far away and Cedar Fair used to manage it and that management contract included Cedar Fair bringing in Peanut's theming. For 2008 though, Mall Of America chose not to re-new that management contract and now is featuring Paramount, Viacom, and Nickelodeon theming, including some ride concepts that never made it to the former Paramount Parks. Browntggrr
VF was purchased by Cedar Point in 1978 creating Cedar Fair Limited Partnership. CP and VF were the first CF properties, hence the "Cedar" and "Fair". Why they have chosen not to go Peanuts? Meh.. I have no idea. But don't read into it too much.
