Some other nice widgets I have: Family Guy and Simpsons Quotes, Whoopee Cushion, Urban Dictionary search, movie showtimes, iTunes lyrics, and even WMATA (Washington Metro) train arrival sign feeds (currently set to Woodley Park/Zoo station) Quote

Cory, not sure, but I do believe Windows Vista has some sort of knock-off version of widgets, considering Vista is a poor knock off of Mac OSX. Don't know what you use though. iChase Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Let's see, Cory, I don't think I can, I could create a web version and you could load it from there though. CoastersNSich, I did use the Widget creator, it's called Dashcode. It's pretty easy really. I just used the Eiffel Tower picture on KI's media page and Photoshopped it a bit and put the rest together in Dashcode, took about four hours. Whoopee Cushion? Does that widget, uh, do anything? Gordon, correct you are about Vista. Quote
Purplehaze Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 You can design your own Windows "gadgets" however it is time consuming and you must know a little , java and so on. You can however buy a program to do this.... I do not use it I make them from scratch. http://gadget-builder.com/order/ Quote
iChase Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 Donnie, if you want to clone mine for Windows go right ahead. I'll send you all the Photoshop files. Quote
Purplehaze Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 ok thanks I might do that later tonight when my insomnia sets in for the long haul. If you can send them in .png it would be awesome... Click my siggy and it will take you to my website where you can click the contact link, that would be awesome.... Quote
Cory Butcher Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I have XP on my two computers, so no widget for me . The upstairs computer has Vista, maybe I will put one on it. Dang I wanted one. Quote
Purplehaze Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 If I am not mistaken Cory you can download Stardock for Windows Blinds and get the same effect. Quote
