When I go to Cedar Fairs website and click on the different parks (except for some)they all say to log in, and if i dont it says im not authorized to see this site.I know i can just type in Visitkingsisland.com, but why does it do this?Is it only my computer?

I am having it do that too, but it seems it's only on the former Paramount parks. I can get on Worlds of Fun and Cedar Point, but not KI,KD, and CW.

Even just going to www.visitkingsisland.com yields the same results.

Thats odd.A couple of secs ago it was working.Why does it do this?

I just tried them and it works fine for me.

Webmasters can password protect directory's, including the root directory for the website, its a way of doing maintenance.

As Dane said, many websites protect against people going into their directories. Usually this is done to protect material for that website.
