Season Pass Question

I'm getting ready to head up to Maryland and was thinking about picking up my VIP season pass at Kings Dominion since they are open while I'm there.

If I purchase the Platinum pass at Kings Dominion will I get VIP benefits at other Cedar Fair parks? Specifically, will I be able to get into Cedar Point 1 hour early? The page on Kings Dominion's site mentions VIP status only at Kings Dominion.

^Dont say that . I would really like to use those fast lanes at KI this year with my CP pass (especially since everyone and their mother who had a non CP SP last year got let in during my Joe Cool ERT.)

To add some more fuel to the fire, topgun posted this on pointbuzz (dont know why he hasnt linked it here) but here is a video of Tony from CP at Winter Soar, while the first part is him talking about CP's new stuff this year (and Maxair) but at about the two min mark he starts taking questions, during which he again reiterates that Platinum Pass Benifits are given to all passholders at all parks (and he is even making a PDF.)

Not to mention that I, like you, PAID for Joe Cool last summer at Cedar Point, PAID for all Ohio parking, and then watched Max passholders from KI and Geauga Lake who paid for neither get in for the early entry times and not pay to park, having paid for neither at Cedar Point. Then, at KI I was told MY Max pass which I paid for with my hard earned money got me no perks at KI. Lovely, no?

I would hope that Tony's words would be true for a season, not just the night he said them. Then again, it is Cedar Fair, it is the company who apparently can't keep the same policy in effect for a week without a caveat or two.

Apparently, statements made by PR reps for Cedar Fair are only operative at that moment in time...aka "FOR NOW." (emphasis in the original).
