Best trip to the park I ever had

Arrived around 10:30 with my friend, and got on Beast in just about a 2 train wait. Seemed to be running a bit faster than I remember, but of course, it could just be my imagination. It has been awhile since I've ridden.

Backlot Stunt Coaster next, I liked the new Billboards actually. A more stylized design. Everything else is same, minus the lack of "splash down" effect.

Spongebob next, the tarps in front of preshow are gone, as is the little display between sides.

Zephyr, still a classic ride.

Firehawk was the longest wait, at around an hour. Everything else was relatively short. Not sure how anyone could call today "packed". It was far from packed, especially the last couple hours.

Racer is interesting, but I rode Blue (Former Forwards), so nothing much different.

Had lunch. As stated elsewhere, had Fried Chicken, a BBQ Pork Sandwich, Corn, Mashed Potatoes, a Cookie, and two Vaults for $15. I had my fill, for a decent price.

Skyflyer was $5, so we rode that. Such an adrenaline rush pulling that cord.

Invertigo was so awesome, it nearly pulled my face off.

Met up with some other people as they got off Beast. Noticed they were giving away Gremlins stuffed animals as prizes at the basketball game at Beast's exit. I LOVED that movie, and still do. Got myself a new Stripe. By far the best part of the day. Never expected to see Gizmo dolls at KI.

Avatar was a 1 cycle wait.

Flight of Fear, the on ride video is once again on ride photos.

Express is still the best ride in Oktoberfest.

Drop Zone (EDIT: My bad, Drop Tower) was NO WAIT.

Now for the part you are really interested in. Swan Lake Construction is MASSIVE. Tons of equipment there, and plenty to see. I highly recommend going up Tower and comparing it in area to Backlot. You'll also get a good look at trees that were cleared between Train and Crypt. Also, the "Potted Flowers" in front of Crypt are awesome. A grand addition to the park.

I had a very fun day. Didn't do anything new really, but a relaxing day. Plus, I now have a Gremlin. Any day you gain a Gremlin is an awesome day. I'll post a picture of him for you all some day. My Homer Simpson now has a friend to talk with on my shelf.

Was this the Backyard BBQ All-You-Can-Eat Deal? I wanted to try it something but I wasn't sure what kind of food they had.

It was a good variety. Sandwiches/Burgers, taco bowls, chicken, turkey, spaghetti, and the sorts.

That's sounds delicious. My brother and I just had PB&J's in the parking lot.

In other news, we saw Don Helbig walking from Coney Mall to International Street with what looked like to be a reporter and cameraman. We never did find out what station it was or see Don the rest of the day. He was probably explaining the necessity to have flower pots on large concrete cylinders.

I believe it was WCPO 9 that were with Don on account their van was parked next to the big sign and also a recap of Don was on their news that evening when I got home.

I enjoyed my time at the park yesterday...Hung out a bit before and after work and saw 2 KICers being kwindshawne and Aaron (PKIVortex). Appearently mr Uncle Henry saw me, but didn't say hello so his loss :P

This might be a dumb question....but how do you all know what everyone looks like on here? A lot of people don't have their real pics posted! Just wondering. My brother and I kept looking around wondering if anyone from KIC was lurking around..lol.
