With Kings Island's opening day now behind us we can officially say that Spring is here! Kings Island is now open weekends until May when the park will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Click here to see Kings Island's full 2008 operating schedule!

Part of Kings Island's new identity is having six live shows for the 2008 season. A brand new show officially opened on Sunday called County Line. This show is an amazing portrayal of American country music which performs in the Festhaus at 1:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 6:00 daily!* Sit down and enjoy some LaRosa's, Panda Express, or choose from many other menu options as you watch this incredible tribute to country music's chart-toppers being performed by the stars of tomorrow. Kings Island is proud to salute our active members of the military with a new military discount program! Active members of the US military can receive up to six tickets at a special reduced rate at Kings Island's front gate when presenting an active military photo ID. The military discount is kind of bust...its only $29.99 the same price they offer on the website...my friend can tickets through work for $19.99.

Any more, buying amusement park tickets is like buying airline tickets. You pay one price, your neighbor another, someone who buys online pays yet another and someone who lives in Indy pays another price. I think this is called pricing integrity.
