italianchef
Today I dropped by Kings Island around 12:15 after attending Media Day at The Beach Water Park. It was dang crowded! Even LaRosa's on International Street had a super-long line. The lines were so long that in the 1.5 hours I was there, all I did were Plankton's Plungs and The Eiffel Tower. masonguy21
REALLY?!?! Wow that is crazy! Was it mostly students there for math and science day or was it just the general public?
Keysersoze
I was there, it was packed, full of students from all over. Not many cars in the parking lot, all busses. I got there at opening, it was cold, first ride for me was FOF, they had all the lights on for some reason. I then did Vortex and then Beast, with a Scrambler ride to boot. Did that from 10 to 11:30. I then stood in line for SOB for one hour, after that I took off.
BoddaH1994
Yep. It gives you quite an illusion when the parking lot is almost completely empty yet you go inside and it's a madhouse. I still had fun today.
The Interpreter
BoddaH1994, I mean this in the kindest way possible. If it rained all day, all the shows were cancelled, the park closed at 2pm, and all you got to do was eat a Cinnabon roll, you'd still have fun at Kings Island! Guest TombraiderTy
Having gone with a school group, we stayed from 9:30 to 1:15, fitting in five rides (SDATHC, Grand Carousel, Dodgems, Flight of Fear, and Red Racer) and finishing a massive packet. Crowds were very bad.
raptor
not to mention when It was most crowded around 3:00 half of the rides were closed: the crypt, viking fury, only one racer open, even the train and the log flume were closed, as crowded as it was that was ridiculous

I know a lot of people who work there and show up there a lot and always find people to hang out with. Easily amused, I suppose...
TOPGUN1993
I was at the park from 3:00 to 9:00 and at around 6:00 the park became basically Empty! 5 People in line for Dropzone, everything else station wait (including Firehawk, Crypt, and Sob)
Colonel_SoB_fan
I got there around 6:30ish and there was small crowd there. Didn't help that Invertigo, Vortex, Son of Beast and Backlot Stunt Coaster were all broken down
TOPGUN1993
When I got there at 3:00 there was alot of rides not open. Slingshot, Monster, Viking Fury, Crypt, Train, Thornberrys, WWC, Blue Racer, but they all opened later on in the day.

BavarianBeatle
We got there around 430. Waited about an hour for The Beast, then everything cleared out VERY nicely. Between about 730 and closing we rode SOB, Flight Deck, SOB again, Viking Fury, AE, Red Racer (the ride op let us ride twice) Dodgems, Vortex, BLSC and then enjoyed our first nightime Beast ride of the year!!! My kids and I had a nice evening at the park.

Steve
Top Gun speaks the truth! We came at 6:00 to get in SOB line. The masses of kids were heading to the busses just as we came in what perfect timing! SOB, Invertigo, and all rides except Backlot Stunt Coaster were open and running! Station waits or walk-ons for most rides!

Didn't help that Invertigo, Vortex, Son of Beast and Backlot Stunt Coaster were all broken down All of those rides opened back up as the night went on. When I rode Flight of Fear at 9:50, there were absoulutely no lights on . it was crazy! you couldn't see your own hand in front of your face.
