The MSNBC one is a feed from WLWT, however, in the article they mistakingly call it "Channel Four."

I remember when I was younger they showed the Grand Canyon an Building to Building jump on national television, I wonder if anyone will cover this jump nationally.

I could see that the news networks may show clips of it.

I can't see anyone really doing a national feed of the jump as it's just not national news.

Gotta remember that TV was very different in the 70's than it is now.

But...it will quickly become national news should tragedy strike, which means the media must be prepared. This would instantly become wall to wall coverage on all the cable news outlets, which are starved with stuff to feed their audiences, especially on a holiday weekend, when hard news is in very short supply. Heck, it may make national news given the timing if everything goes perfectly, which it almost certainly will....

Sound like Fun! Just kidding, The TV is going to be how I see the jump. Being how gas prices are, from Columbus it cost me about 20 bucks in gas alone for a Kings Island trip and I was just there friday, and I got my riding in. Next trip for me will be sometime in June.

So sad, but true.

Jerry's great, just don't take any checks from him. Normer on the other hand, when the camera was off was not all that pleasant. I tried to get her to participate in a charity event and she did every thing but cuss me out. I only asked her once, all she needed to do was say no and I would have been gone. I hope she was not that way with her family.

I remember a story that my grandmother had told me. She worked in the Regency Room at Shillito's when she retired from Millicron. Well, Jerry came in to buy some dresses for his wife. Dropped a few thousand dollars and she said he was one of the nicest people to wait on.

I wasn't referring to Evel's jumps in the 70's which were televised, I was talking about Robbie's Builing to Buidling, train jump, and Grand Canyon jump which were broadcast nationally on FOX.

Yep Jerry was and still is a very nice guy, very charitable, and knows when to turn on the actor in him. I was referring to the time he paid for a lady of the evening with a check and it bounced. He was even elected Mayer after that. Got to love the people of Cincinnati.

I remember when that happened in Newport.

He actually was a very good mayor. That's before things went to hell in the city.

The man is actually very bright, apparently.

I remember when his show started out locally. Was nothing like it is now.

You know Ryan if you realy think about that it is pretty amazing. Your video you made for this website is now around the world and everyone is viewing it. I think a big congratulations is in order to you.

All I did was splice the thing together. The big hand should go out to the many people who were VERY patient in filming the event. Mainly Gabe, Robbie and Bill... it really wouldn't have been possible without them.

Just to let everyone know, Knievel is on Anderson Cooper on CNN in a few minutes...

Edit: Cooper just talked about it and showed some video with some lame jokes for a few minutes, my neighbor made it sound like he was doing an interview with Robbie.
