I was wondering, for those of you who have been to the park this year, what is the mood of the park? Has it changed at all? Is it more cheery, colorful, or is it pretty much the same that it has always been? Has Cedar Fair taken any steps to improve the park's landscaping? Planting more flowers for example. I will know soon enough, but I am hoping for outside opinions.

The bathrooms are cleaner and there are more trash cans scattered everywhere. I am mad that CF hasn't done anything w/the garden clock by the Eiffel Tower.

I would be surprised if that floral clock was not in full summer form for this weekend.

Modern pop music is not classical music. It need not be Paramount music, but an International Street return to the classical music of pre-Paramount days would show that Cedar Fair IS serious about bringing nostalgia back.

The ride signs have definately been cared for in the off season as well. They aren't faded like they have been in past seasons.

nostalgia.... that tag line is only supposed to make all of us schleps feel good about the fact that there was nothing under our tree this year. The "all-forward" Racer was the only "new" thing this year... and I'm gueesing that the decision had nothing to do with nostalgia.

As far as mood is concerned. I agree with the music on Intl. Street... but really there's nothing international about it anymore anyway. The first couple of weekends I was REAL impressed with the overall attitude of the ride opps... then last week the apathy of "this is a job and it's going to be a long summer" seemed to leak in.

Seems there actually is quite a bit under the tree.

The park looks cleaner..needs more color and landscaping though. Didn`t really notice much difference in

the employee morale. They are friendly but how much after long hours of people asking questions and such what kind of mood would anyone be in?

I would consider the new program on The Crypt almost like a new attraction. Yes the theming is gone, but the new program provides a very powerful and forceful ride experience. That is almost like a brand new ride for this season.

And as others have mentioned, how can you forget the fact that there are two new shows in the Festhaus this year?
