Voodoo Enthralls

Recommended Posts

I figured Voodoo would go over well. It's a shame that when I rode it at GL, they weren't using the holding brake, so I've not had the chance to experience that. Funny thing is, it looks nothing like it did at GL. Nice paint job and the new trains look good.

^ IMO really don't think there is a comparison.

WT has greater forces, higher spikes, and twists on both ends. The twists are really what do it for me.

I'm not saying that Voodoo is not a decent coaster, I just don't think it is on WT's level.

And, as seems to be the usual for us, Brown, I totally, utterly and completely disagree (this is a matter of opinion, after all), I wouldn't trade ONE ride on Steel Venom aka Superman: Ultimate Escape aka V2 for a summer of riding Wicked Twister. The holding brake makes the standard impulse the great ride it is for me. Oddly, the one that had its ends slanted at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (the original was built out of compliance with local height restrictions, and the locals made them bring it into compliance the year after it was built...do I see a pattern here?) is my favorite of them all.
