Steve
Does anyone know if Hershypark has an online guide website with rides, photos, ect? I am thinking about going there when my family visits relatives in Pottstown, PA! I tried "Hersheyparkcentral.com" but it didn't exist haha! Browntggrr
I am not sure if there is a site equivalent to KIC for Hershey Park, but there are tons of trip reports and pictures at ThemeParkReview. Just be wary of some of the members there. Where we at KIC are biased to KI, they are biased to the West coast, Europe, and everything negative toward CF. Some points are legit, while others are completely off the wall. Have fun at Hershey. It is a FANTASTIC park. Definitely one of the better ones out there. Steve
Thanks! I'll try to get on the Comet(seems similar to The Racer), farenheit(looks like mini-dragster), great bear looks GREAT!, not too excited about lightning racer, roller soaker looks fun, and Coal Cracker looks like KCKC! Since you said you live near it, what would you recommend riding?
Rollercoast19
Lightning Racer is a great ride! It is very very smooth and it has a fun racing layout.
RWildman424
I went last summer, and I loved everything I did. I rode every roller coaster and lover each one. Storm Runner would be the mini-dragster, but its much more than that. Its an actual roller coaster after the initial launch and hill. Farenheit is the new coaster for 08 which opens tomorrow. As far as guides go, I don't know of any. rcdb.com is always a good resource for coaster pics and stats, but other than that, I don't know of anything. Lightning racer is an excellent ride. I only got to ride it twice, but I enjoyed both rides very much. I really have nothing bad to say about the park.

It is actually one of the best coasters, if not THE best, coasters in the park. Rollersoaker usually has a long line and is "meh". I have not been on Wildcat since they installed the new trains, but from all reports, it is a much smoother ride. But you should hit all the rides and form your own opinion, even if it means missing the zoo on a one day pass. If going for two days, you will have no problem hitting everything a couple times. Steve
Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll have to hit lightning racer then! It just looked so similar to The Racer I wrote it off.. Can't wait!

LR is NOTHING like KI's Racer. Not even close. LR is a "dueling" coaster (aka each side does not mirror the other). Both sides give completely different rides. The Interpreter
And both sides ride like the GCII rides they are...not like the Allen maintained like a Dinn ride The Racer is...
