Lake54321 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 It opened 1 month behind schedule but it's finally done. http://www.sanduskyregister.com/articles/2...ront/781680.txt http://www.mauisandsresort.com/ Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Kings Island. Where else? Well, here's another answer....though the relevant question may be: Cedar Point. Where else? or Soak City. Where else? Cedar Fair really needs to wake up and smell the coffee and realize its customers DO have other options. Other options to them owning all the major theme/amusement parks in the state. Other options to eating in their parks. Even other options to even going to their parks. Where else? Indeed. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I have stayed at Khalari Resorts not too long ago and I think hotels like these are a blast and could be a vaction themselfs. Quote
Raptor66 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 How many indoor waterparks do they have up there now? They got Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Castaway Bay, Rain, Coyote Falls, and now Maui Sands! Am I missing any? Quote

Lake54321 Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 That Rain one looks pretty crappy. Not so much "Crappy".... just VERY SMALL! Quote
cstrwomann Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Do you have to stay at the hotel in order to use the indoor water park? Do they have day passes? When I went to CP last month to get my pass processed it wasn't open yet. It looks pretty small from the outside. Quote

I'm pretty sure all of the Indoor Water parks offer Day passes now, when Castaway Bay opened they didn't but they do now. It also depends on how full the hotel is, if the hotel is full they might not sell day passes for that day. It's best to call ahead and make sure they are selling them for that day. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Unless something has changed, I`m fairly certain that only guests staying at the Great Wolf Lodge get access to their water park. I know that is the case at the GWL here at Kings Island, I`m not certain on the one in Sandusky. I know locally, that Coco Key indoor water park offers day passes to non-hotel guests. Quote
