Coasterkidman
O.K., well, I've learned a lot. I've learned that we will most likely be going sometime next week. I've learned that I will be going with my 9 year old brother, I've learned that I will only be able to do the 8-10 hour plan I origionally posted, with the exception of the fact that I may be able to do some Early Ride Time the morning we leave. So if you could post any tips based on the information above, I would be thankfull. Also, most importantly, if you could post some rides that my 9-year old brother would like, that'd be nice. Thanks. The Interpreter
If at ALL possible, convince your parents that you and your brother ought to be able to go over to the park during the "golden hour" before it opens to the public on the day you leave. You will not regret it. And remember to thank them, again and again, for letting you do this.
Coasterkidman
O.K., I'm going on Tueseday, And I will For Sure be going during the "Golden Hour" on Wednesday. In fact, I may stay another 1 1/2 hours afterwords. And I had to agree to wash the toilets to be able to go during Golden Hour. I will probably be staying at the Hotel Breakers. Cedar Point, Cedar Point, 4 days away!
Browntggrr
HB huh? I LOVE staying there. Right on park property and steps away from the resort gates. Sure it is pricey, but if you can do the package deal, it is not that bad. Like Interp said, thank your parents. Even though it is a one day trip, you will still have fun. As far as your brother goes, how tall is he? And is he afraid of coasters?

As far as your brother goes, how tall is he? And is he afraid of coasters? My Father is into having the best possible experience, so when I said it's a lot cheaper to say in a hotel off site, he says, "No. I want expensive. I want to have a veiw. Wake up and smell lake Erie and see the skyline of CP." I couldn't argue. Me Brother is about 50 inches tall. He his sorta afraid of coasters. Just this year was the first time he rode The Racer at Kings Island, he loves it, and Flight Deck. He want's to ride Firehawk but can't because of lines. So I have been into trying to get hime into coasters, because if there was a time and place for it I figured it should be 9 years old and Cedar Point. And don't worry, I can really crank out the thanks when I need to.
The Interpreter
Please, please don't laugh. And whatever you do, do NOT make fun of it before you get there or even after you do. Iron Dragon. It's really a pretty cool little ride that doesn't deserve the bad rep it gets...your brother should love it. He's tall enough for Gemini, Blue Streak too...and even Magnum...and even Millennium Force, which is probably not too much for him, if he can get by its intimidating appearance (and the second hill does cause most to gray out a little), Finally, a little tip...many of us older adults do ride Woodstock Express...it's a fun little ride, and unlike many kiddie coasters, you don't need a kid with you to ride it. Coasterkidman
Does anyone know the Average Wait time for TTD during Exlusive Ride Nights and/or the Average wait for rides during Early Ride Time?
The Interpreter
It's Cedar Point...and like many other things much depends on weather and who decides to go/not go that particular day. Besides, if we told you 15 minutes and it turned out to be two hours, what good is that? Or if we told you two hours and it turned out you decided to skip it and it was really 15 minutes...what good is that? The sad truth is you goes and you takes your chances. Have fun!
