Justin_M17
http://www.pki.com/events/event_detail.cfm...71&ec_id=15 This states that after showing a season pass, you can buy a single-day admission for a friend for $10. It also has advertisements to buy a Platinum Pass. Do you have to have a Platinum pass to get this deal or will a Gold pass work too? CoastersRZ
Per the page you linked to, that special deal will be valid for all Kings Island pass holders, which means that it is inclusive of KI Gold Pass holders and Platinum Pass holders. I will not be at Kings Island that day, as I will be working a double at Coney that day!

Justin_M17
I hope it does. I know for sure I'll be there. Although unfortunately, with it being a holiday, it will probably be as crowded as it was on Memorial Day/Knievel Jump Day. That was rediculous! The Adventure Express is usually a walk-on ride, but there was an hour and a half wait on that day o.O
The Interpreter
Actually no. One reason that Father's Day and Mother's Day were selected for this promotion is that those are usually relatively low attendance days. More so Mother's Day than Father's Day, as Father's Day is in higher attendance June and for some reason most people make a lot bigger deal about Mother's Day than Father's Day...and most parents do NOT want to go to a theme park. Yes, some do, but most do not. I should also add that ANY Kings Island season pass (or any Cedar Fair park's Platinum Pass) will do. A Kings Island season pass does not have to be gold or platinum. Also, it's bring a friend for $9.99, not ten bucks...pennies add up to nickels!
MarketingExpress
The Adventure Express is usually a walk-on ride, but there was an hour and a half wait on that day o.O How many trains were they running on the AE and where was the line backed up to? Two or three I think, It's been awhile. But the line was backed up clear to the restrooms nearest AE, which was rediculous. It was the same deal with The Racers, they had ALL the extra waiting lines being used and the line for both trains was still funneling out into the walkway. I let them read the stuff on here and some of my posts are their ideas. They would love it.
The Interpreter
And you, Justin_M17, probably would, too! You'd be surprised how much fun you can have with people nowhere near your own age!

Nahhhh. As long as you've got a strong enough stomach to ride the big stuff you're cool with us. And don't think you're walking out of this park without a picture taken! The only problem is, niether of us have cell phones. So we'll have to arrange a certain time to meet at a certain place.

(Like you said it's all comparative). They seem to have two categories of age: 1. Young; and, 2. Over 30........

And I'll go back to doing a few things you guys wouldn't have dreamed of ever being able to do when you were my age, YAAAY! Sorry, had to say it But, to Bavarian, which rides are the "54' rides"? Just out of curiosity. Do you know or can I look it up on the KI site?
CoastersRZ
Invertigo, The Crypt, Flight of Fear, and Firehawk all have height requirements of 54" to ride. Delirium used to be 54" as well, but was actually LOWERED to 52" last year.

Justin_M17
take the kids on drop zone! they will love the view! Drop Zone is the only ride I'm slightly "iffy" about riding.
