Per the page you linked to, that special deal will be valid for all Kings Island pass holders, which means that it is inclusive of KI Gold Pass holders and Platinum Pass holders. I will not be at Kings Island that day, as I will be working a double at Coney that day!

I hope it does. I know for sure I'll be there. Although unfortunately, with it being a holiday, it will probably be as crowded as it was on Memorial Day/Knievel Jump Day. That was rediculous! The Adventure Express is usually a walk-on ride, but there was an hour and a half wait on that day o.O

Actually no. One reason that Father's Day and Mother's Day were selected for this promotion is that those are usually relatively low attendance days. More so Mother's Day than Father's Day, as Father's Day is in higher attendance June and for some reason most people make a lot bigger deal about Mother's Day than Father's Day...and most parents do NOT want to go to a theme park. Yes, some do, but most do not.

I should also add that ANY Kings Island season pass (or any Cedar Fair park's Platinum Pass) will do. A Kings Island season pass does not have to be gold or platinum. Also, it's bring a friend for $9.99, not ten bucks...pennies add up to nickels!

How many trains were they running on the AE and where was the line backed up to?

Two or three I think, It's been awhile. But the line was backed up clear to the restrooms nearest AE, which was rediculous. It was the same deal with The Racers, they had ALL the extra waiting lines being used and the line for both trains was still funneling out into the walkway.

That's funny, I rode AE that day, and it was a walk-on.

We will be there that evening, but I have no friends who are interested in going with us......

Hey, if you'd like to meet up, let me know :) Our "Group" Will most likely just consist of me and one friend, so the more the merrier :)

It will be me and my two kids, ages 9 and 8. They can't ride the "54 inch rides" yet, but they would love a ride or two on The Beast, Vortex, or SOB with some people from this site..... I let them read the stuff on here and some of my posts are their ideas. They would love it.

Hmm...I don't know if I could go a day at KI without riding Firehawk and FoF, lol. But I'd like to meet you there. That is if you don't mind spending the day with two youngsters apart from your own =P

Like I said, not the whole day, just a couple of rides, then you could go back to doing your thing. The kids would love it. I know kids your age don't want to spend TOO much time ith an oldster like me, but, for me, KI is all about the kids having a good time and has nothing to do with me (Yeah, right... :) )

Oldster? Nahhhh. As long as you've got a strong enough stomach to ride the big stuff you're cool with us. And don't think you're walking out of this park without a picture taken! :)

The only problem is, niether of us have cell phones. So we'll have to arrange a certain time to meet at a certain place.

I can ride anything there. So can the kids, to the extent they are able due to the height rules. (I have refused their request for platform shoes...LOL) Just PM me and name a time and place.

Okay, I'll go back to buttoning my shoes and getting ready to iron for tomorrow....

:)

And I'll go back to doing a few things you guys wouldn't have dreamed of ever being able to do when you were my age, YAAAY!

Sorry, had to say it :)

But, to Bavarian, which rides are the "54' rides"? Just out of curiosity. Do you know or can I look it up on the KI site?

Invertigo, The Crypt, Flight of Fear, and Firehawk all have height requirements of 54" to ride. Delirium used to be 54" as well, but was actually LOWERED to 52" last year.

All right, Thank ya. I've never even been on Invertigo or The Crypt unfortunately... But as far as I'm concerned, a day at KI is incomplete without riding Flight of Fear and Firehawk :)

I am reminded of this constantly, so I know it by heart: FoF, Firehawk, Invertigo, The Crypt. Delerium is 52 inches (one can ride, one can't)
