BoddaH1994 Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 What was your best trip ever to KI? I'd have to say mine was Beastbuzz in 04. It was my first special event at KI. Followed CLOSELY by KIC Day this year and the Knievel jump. What's yours? Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Beast Bash 06 and then HHaunt Media Night 07 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 The most memorable, by far, would be opening Day, 1972 with my Mom, Dad and family. Quote

Avatar Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 So many over 3 decades it would be like picking a favorite player from a sports team and asking who was best. As far as doing various meet-up and PKICentral /KICentral activities since I missed last years KICentral Day, this year’s is my favorite. Oh wait if one was to happen this year that is. Quote
pilotank Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Grad Night with a little "Smokin in the Boys Room"! pilotank Quote
welchce Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Followed CLOSELY by KIC Day this year Sign me up! KIC Day last year. Agreed. Walking The Beast for the first time was amazing. Quote
WooferBearATL Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Far too many. One of the most increible was the Supervisor's dinner at International Restaurnat before Dry Run Day. The food and company were wonderful. After dinner a bunch of us walked around the park and watched em testing The Vortex. I don't think anyone got any sleep before Dry Run. And, it was the start to an amazing season. Quote
Jeffy Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Grad nite 1981! Last time my high school buds were all together. Quote
dare-to-fly Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 There was a walk-on day that I stumbled on to last year in which my girlfriend and I were able to get in rides on pretty much everything in the park, we then spent three hours at the water park, and after we closed it down, went back to the rides park and had an absolute blast until closing! Thrill_Biscuit Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 July, 1978. It was my first airplane flight (we were living in Detroit at the time). Rode the Big Slide all morning long, and never got bored with it. Then our relatives had a huge barbecue in Mason, then we came back to the park, where I spent the rest of the day in HBL. It was the last time I ever rode in a parking tram. Lost forever is a great picture of my cousin and me riding the Helicopter ride that would one day become the Jetson's ride that is no longer in the park. I remember the hand stamp was fluorescent, and you had to hold it under a black light to get back inside the park. My aunt bought a dog leash that had no dog (something to do with HB's 'Ghost Chasers'). I got a marionette that had blue feathers. My brother wanted to buy an elongated 7-up bottle from the Glass blower, but it was either too expensive, or not for sale. I went back to Michigan with a lot of bragging rights about 'my park back home'. Best trip ever. Quote
dare-to-fly Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Rode the Big Slide all morning long, and never got bored with it. It's always amazing how that works. I wore my aunt out on the slide at LeSourdsville Lake/Americana one year when I was little. After about 20 times, she just couldn't take the climb anymore. Quote
Jasper Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Back in 2003 on a rainy dreary Tuesday in July. There were absolutely zero lines walked on about everything we wanted to. I would say we at least rode everything twice if not more. That was also the first time i rode Drop Tower. Quote
