I may be way off on this but I think this coaster is going to be longer than 4200 ft. I just don't think the person who looked at these plans took into consideration the changes in elevation. You take the first hill at around 200 ft and you can already add 400 ft to the length. That takes it to 4600 ft without even taking into consideration all of the other elements of this coaster. That puts you right around where First Drop and the other website referenced at around 5000 ft. I don't think it is a stretch that she did not look at the plans this way since she thought the helixes were loops. Quote

The que gates exist on the side of the station farthest from the Rivertown buildings. The exit is closest. I'd expect the EXIT to use the building. I would like to see an improvement on the theme of rivertown, and make everything fit into the mining theme (The Crypt!!!) Quote

Something along the lines of Thunderhead shooting through the station. Yes I know Im out on a limb and its not going to happen but how cool would that be? The 1st drop is going to fall from the Antique Photo building to the inside of the RR tracks. That may require removal of the old TR Photo building. The return seems to take the coaster over that que area, over the cave entrance and into a tight helix in The Beast plaza. Does Crypt ever even use the full que? Shaggy Quote

teenageninja Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I would imagine with the addition of the new queues inside of the Crypt the line would not be longer than half of the outside portion, however, if it gets extremely popular at some point again, that could create a lot of congestion in Rivertown. Also has anyone thought of how high this helix is. It seems as thought it might be a good amount over the path, maybe something guests can walk under. Quote

They showed the pics of the plans and said that the Park was keeping mum about the project. I just found it interesting that the article that was published made the news over here. Quote
