RollerNut
http://www.myfoxcharlotte.com/myfox/pages/....1.1&sflg=1 Update: http://www.myfoxcharlotte.com/myfox/pages/...mp;pageId=1.1.1 I know no one is going to agree with my opinion, but I will post it anyway. My opinion on the incident at Carowinds is that people need to keep their eyes to themselves and not worry what other guests are doing. While I would be upset, I wouldn't start a fight over it if security appears to have done nothing about it. It isn't worth getting banned from Carowinds for. Doge
So you dont mind swimming in baby batter? If everyone kept there eyes to themselves, dont you think crime would skyrocket? There would be no witnesses to anything. Sounds like Carowinds failed, epically.
Cody
Thats just sick, what kind of human would do that? Thats down right wrong. He sounds like a sick perv and needs to be locked up.

Lets try this again, People should more worried about the people they are respondable for than what other guests are doing. While the story upsets me, I wouldn't start a fight over it if security appears to have done nothing about it. It isn't worth getting banned from, Carowinds for, or getting arrested for fighting. Let the people that are respondable for security issues handle it. Does that sound better?
Cortney
My aunt and uncle's nieghbors were at Carowinds and wintessed this. My aunt is all like we aren't going to the water park and I am like are you NUTS in this heat I am! That is disgusting, kind of makes you question security at parks if they didn't find that disturbing.
iChase
Truly disturbing. I really would like to know who actually would do this. Especially with a 3 year old daughter in their lap. That's absolutely sickening. More disturbing, however, is that security didn't do anything. Really, I'm quite glad the guy socked the perv. Several people in the area I live in are blaming the park, and atleast one has sent emails. Since I have had run-ins with security, I will see I can't imagine them letting this person slide. I can't believe it took until 3am for them to figure out which state it happened in. http://forums.the-dispatch.com/eve/forums/...65/m/7711044837
WooferBearATL
WOW Major blow for Carrowinds. How could they have not reported these allegations to the authorities? That just opens Carrowinds up to some huge exposures for this incident.
The Interpreter
I strongly suspect that one or more persons who apparently used very poor judgment in this matter will soon be leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Oh, if it has not already happened, that is for certain. I'd suspect that several heads will roll as a result of this. If these allegations are correct and accurate, this may be one of the worst handled incidents in Carrowinds history. Even if it is not accurate, it's a massive screw up. This is a totally outrageous disregard of good sense by the Carrowinds security. If that guy hadn't punched the pervert out, he would be free to do this again at Carrowinds or some where else. No one should take the law into their own hands. But this situation begged to be dealt with and security at Carrowinds totally botched this. I'm glad someone had the guts to do something. It's just a shame it had to come to this. It's a public relations nightmare for Carrowinds and upper management better make some changes in staffing and procedures in one quick hurry. The Interpreter
...assuming, of course, that the guy really did do what it is alleged that he did. Perhaps he did not. Stranger things have happened. But, by not quickly contacting law enforcement when the allegations were made, Carowinds agents and/or employees pre-empted a proper investigation by law enforcement officials. Dumb. Truly world class dumb. I highly doubt we have heard the last of this. It wouldn't even surprise me if the guy who got "knocked out" sued everyone involved, from the girl(s) who reported the incident to the park to the security people involved to the guy who "knocked" him "out." King Maple The Tree King
It isn't worth getting banned from Carowinds for. Especially since you know so much about being banned from Carowinds.
Justin_M17
That is truly sickening. It's bad enough that this man was masturbating in public, but what makes it worse is that he was doing it in front of a total of four little girls, one of which sitting right there with him! I'm quite happy that this guy socked him, I would've done the same thing if it was my family witnessing this.

Justin_M17
And the longer this goes on, the worse the park looks.... The park security should've done something to resolve the issue rather than just advising the assailant (Forget his name) to turn a blind eye. Any negative attention they get is well deserved if you ask me.

Vortexlover2
why would they have to figure out what state he was in? Isn't it illegal to reveal frontal private parts in public throughout the entire country? very stupid on everybody's part, in my opinion.
The Interpreter
Because the offense can only be prosecuted in the state in which it occurred. Carowinds has had scads of prosecution problems ever since it was built straddling the North Carolina/South Carolina state line. It causes labor, ride inspection, tax and worker's comp problems as well. I doubt you ever see such a silly situation created on purpose in the USA again. WooferBearATL
Yes, but the proper action would have been to report to both of the handling jurisdictions and allow them to work it out and make that determination. To be honest, it really was not for Carrowinds to decide.
Browntggrr
After reading the reports, I am still astonished that security did not do more. Unless there is something that we don't know.

There is certainly much that we do not know. And since this was handled so poorly, we're going to hear "witness" reports from many people that have probably never even been to the park. Ohhhhh, what a mess.
