BoddaH1994
Just a showboat of how Cedar Fair handed things differently than Six Flags did. Not the rain, but rather the fact that it was simply a jump behind a fence. When he jumped at Kings Island, it was an all day event with live music, boothes, a flashback to the 70s and more. Gordon Bombay
Excellent photographs, rough weather, yet what seems to be have been a great event. Seeing a Knievel jump was something I had wanted to see since I was a kid, and I finally got to experience that at Kings Island, I hope it was just as memorable for the folks down there. Yeah, those photos of the crowd just screamed that they wished they were at a CF park? Boddah, just because Robby completed a jump at SF does not diminish his jump and the activities at Kings Island. I'm certain that Interp just pointed it out as it occurred and was amusement park related. Ya really should not take offense.

I don't think that ya meant any harm there. <G> Usually it's not so difficult to Interpret when you have ulterior motives. <G>
Thrill_Biscuit
How many parks have had both Evel and Robbie do historic jumps in their parking lots?
RailRider
I just find it funny the difference between how SF and KI handled their respective jumps. Seems like at SF it was just kinda there at the park and wasnt being pushed as a big event. Especially from the reporters perspective. At KI the event was huge and was part of an even bigger weekend. I bet Robbie has an opinion on what park helped put on a better show. Then again people wonder why Six is going under, maybe its the lack of planning, ignoring the details and overall disregard for their guests experience. Seriously no bleachers, just stand behind some chain link, thats epic.

When is CF's 2nd Quarter Conference Call?

When is CF's 2nd Quarter Conference Call? Yeah the one that will be poorly maintained and within 5-7 years will become unrideable because of roughness. That is if Six is still around. Yes always hint at the struggles of CF, they have their issues as do the majority of companies right now, but the biggest meassure is stock price. CF's sits at values that it saw back in 2000 where Six as at all time lows and on the verge of being pulled from NYSE. Yes RailRider took the bait, but sometimes I cannot resist... But, it's no secret that both SF and CF are in quite difficult financial places.
