It certainly is nice to have gas prices lower than they've been but it's still a kick in the groin. A lighter, more pleasant kick, but I'm still walking funny.

Still no real excuse that it has tripled in the past 5 years. Definitely makes life a little easier though.

Not at all. I would still like an explanation on how that happened. But yes, it does make life somewhat easier.

I think for the most part, more global demand is causing a good bit of this. Plus, we're not drilling for any new oil either.

Yeah a drop of 20 cents or so, Im so excited I think I will drive to California because gas is so cheap now. Seriously, it needs to drop back to the $2 range before I start tap dancing.

Technically, inflation adjusted, we're not ridiculously above the price of gas in 1918.

Realistically speaking, the red inflation adjusted line should be a straight horizontal line and the black average gas price line should be a straight gradually sloping line from 1918 to meet the 2008 price.

Seriously, it needs to drop back to the $2 range before I start tap dancing.
