raptor
I was wandering what the circumstances around it's removal was, I had always thought it was because of the death, but I noticed in KIC History that it lasted several years after that, and was replaced by nothing. The Interpreter
Indirectly, I suppose it was as a result of the death. After that, ridership declined precipitously. There had also been modifications made to the ride, and I remember they made the never very thrilling ride even less so.
WooferBearATL
I think that it's because the ride worked better in theory than in actuality. As Interp said, there was not much thrill nor much of anything to the ride. Heck, I think that the Zodiac was a much better ride.
Guest TombraiderTy
Of course I never rode it, but I always thought it looked like fun.
The Interpreter
Yes, it looked like fun...but so does the Aviator ride at Kings Dominion. Looks can be deceiving. Sometimes very much so!

raptor
Yeah, I never cared for it much, only rode it a couple of times, but that's what I kind of figured that people didn't want to ride it after the accident. Zodiac looks super cool, I wish I had gotten a chance to ride that.
