Guest KINGSISLANDMASTER Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUqUrigaZDI The youtube said on my computer that the video was removed by user. Why I would like to see the video
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 It was deleted by the user for reasons that probably will not be disclosed here. All in due time, grasshoppers, all in due time.
Blake Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Back on topic, Theres a news segment on DB tonight right know on FOX19!
markhudson17 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Seeing that video got me wondering. What do you think is the biggest someone can be and still fit on DB. Right now I'm a 38 inch waist but I weigh 250 even though I don't look it. I've fit on MF and TTD so I think I should be fine but what do you guys think?
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 If you fit those two coasters, you will almost certainly be fine...
kiruler102 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 what about someone who can fir in Drop Tower and Invertigo 250 pounds and a 40 inch waist?
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Try the test seat....I'd say you are right on the borderline but will probably fit.
BeastinNight Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 The questions and comments are confusing me :\ what exactly was in this video?? i missed it by at most 5min.... kinda depressed I am so excited to ride DB and see what the area looks like
FOFreak Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 What is this test seat anyways? Just kinda curious.
DropZone99 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm not sure if I can fit. I weigh 103 lbs. and have a 25 inch waist line...
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 What is this test seat anyways? Just kinda curious. It's a seat, just like those on the train, complete with working restraint...located at the line entrance, so you can see if you fit or not before entering the line.
UnrealNightmare Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 If you are planning to come to KI more than once, its a waste of money not to get a season pass. Not when I get my tickets for 25 dollars. I never said I'm not getting one indefinitely I just know I wont have one on Saturday.
markhudson17 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm not sure if I can fit. I weigh 103 lbs. and have a 25 inch waist line... I hope your not serious.
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 He is...but his hair is bigger than that!
fcbaseball Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I was wondering if I will fit... My dimensions are 4 feet tall, and 3 inches around. Are these seats going to be accommodating to me? -Your Broom Honestly, I'm pretty sure most people will fit on this ride. B&M are usually quite accommodating to most people. Usually these companies try to fit 99% of people on the ride. When dealing with clearance envelopes, this is the case as well.
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I am now glad I got lost in Washington DC on Tuesday January 20, 2009. It prepared me for what saturday will be like. Although that day I fought my way through 2 million people and I hope 2 million dont show up saturday

Vertical Velocity? Superman: Ultimate Flight? These rides are designed with a 5 foot 10 inch 170 pound male in mind. That's the standard.
DropZone99 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm not sure if I can fit. I weigh 103 lbs. and have a 25 inch waist line... I hope your not serious. Well I really am that skinny if not skinnier. But I know I would fit, I was joking! He is...but his hair is bigger than that! Ha, Only you would say that! I was wondering if I will fit... Well if you are, Your not tall enough. You must be 4 and a half (54 inches.)
fcbaseball Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^AWWW Man.... I hate when my much taller neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Swifter get privileges for being taller and I don't. - Your (quite saddened) Broom EDIT: Terp, which part of my comment do you disagree with? The fit or the clearance?
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Try to whisk away your sorrows...don't let us bristle you. And never think it is the last straw!
fcbaseball Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I guess I can post my question now without it being a double post. Which part of my previous comment do you disagree with? The fit or the clearance?
The Interpreter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 The fit, certainly not the clearance. No rides are better engineered than those of B and M...
fcbaseball Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^ I have ridden most of those rides minus El Toro and have fit comfortably enough to fully enjoy the ride. Being 6'4" and 200 lbs I know I don't speak for everyone on the width side but my father is a bit bigger around the lapbar area and has been able to ride TTD without problem the past 4 years.
Oldschool75 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Dan Carroll from Fox19 was on DB this morning. He even showed his on ride photo. Looks like they added some so the DB sign.He said with the wind chill it felt like 17 degrees.
Go Browns Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Raw Video: Kristina Cruise Rides Diamondback Kinda lame but its something to look at.
