taynes
Why do people still goto SF? Everything we read and hear about always happens at SF. Deaths and accidents alike. Very bad PR forthe park. I would never goto a SF park.

MarketingExpress
Why were they at the park anyway? The article says they were there to get their minds off the hurricane, but wouldn't you be more concerned about your house and belongings that you just got evacuated from as a hurricane is heading towards it? The article says they were there to get their minds off the hurricane, but wouldn't you be more concerned about your house and belongings that you just got evacuated from as a hurricane is heading towards it? They were concerned about their belongings. But if there was nothing to do but wait and see what happened, wouldn't you want something to distract you? What good is sitting and worrying if there is absolutely nothing you can do to affect the outcome?
MarketingExpress
I would be glued to the TV wanting to know how serious it was and if where I lived was flooding at all.

Don't you mean to ask: 1) Why are parents bringing a 7 month old child to an amusement park? 2) Why knowing that the child has breathing problems? 3) Why in the August Texas Heat? So fill me in taynes how this one is on Six Flags?
Mighty Mouse
I would be glued to the TV wanting to know how serious it was and if where I lived was flooding at all. Do we know what the timeline was? Were they at SF at the time that the hurricane was hitting their home? I could understand that if the storm hadn't hit their home yet they might be needing to get away for awhile. That being said, I do agree with Woofer that taking a seriously ill infant to an amusement park in the heat was not the best choice.
