September 21, 200817 yr Well, it isn't like Voyage is themed to a Pilgrim trip across the ocean blue in fourteen hundred and ninety-two..... Voyage? It's no bull....but then again it isn't a strong wind in Georgia, nor an earthquake in Idaho, either...or even a Coaster in Vancouver.... tee hee
September 21, 200817 yr Author Although its been named the Worlds Best Wooden Roller Coaster in 2006, 2007, and now again in 2008! Case Closed!
September 21, 200817 yr Yeah, by the Golden Ticket people...from whom Holiday World bought a full page advertisement to celebrate said fact....gee, what a coincidence!
September 21, 200817 yr While AE is not thrilling at all it was never ment to be. Its a great ride for what it was desgined for and it doesn't really take up that much room.
September 21, 200817 yr Author Its not just Amusment Today, multiple surveys have put the Voyage at the top! Don't dis the Voyage... Ever!
September 21, 200817 yr I am not dissing it, but best wooden coaster? Perhaps best publicized wooden coaster. Paula Werne knows what her job is and does it well.
September 21, 200817 yr Although its been named the Worlds Best Wooden Roller Coaster in 2006, 2007, and now again in 2008! Case Closed! Case Closed? You are really putting that much stock into a coaster poll? And a poll that, ironically, is conducted by their own subscribers. Those polls are more tainted than Super Bowl XL. I'll bet that if you took a poll at cincinnatibengals.com you would find most of the fans think that Carson Palmer is the greatest QB in the NFL.
September 21, 200817 yr Case closed is also known as "I am not interested in other opinions unless they confirm mine..." Always helpful when talking about a highly promoted ride in a highly promoted popular park and a conventional opinion!
September 21, 200817 yr Author I am not dissing it, but best wooden coaster? Perhaps best publicized wooden coaster. Paula Werne knows what her job is and does it well. Paula is a very good friend of mine. And yes she is very good at her job, but it has very much earned most of the credit it has been awarded!
September 21, 200817 yr Author Always helpful when talking about a highly promoted ride in a highly promoted popular park and a conventional opinion! Not as near as promoted, and/or popular as Kings Island! Once again... case closed!
September 21, 200817 yr It's a fun ride that anyone can ride.A great starter coaster to build up to The Beast and sob ect ect. It's not worth a 2 hour wait. But thank god it's a very short wait to ride.
September 21, 200817 yr I find it boring, to say the least. But that doesn't mean it's not fun, or rather, that it can't be made fun.
September 21, 200817 yr Paula is a very good friend of mine. And yes she is very good at her job, but it has very much earned most of the credit it has been awarded! It has earned most of the credit? Wouldn't it be better if it deserves the credit as opposed to earning most of it? And how do you really earn only most of the credit? Where does the rest of the credit come from since it is only earning most of it? And while it is nice to see that Paula has such a dedicated friend, what does her being a very good friend of yours have to do with anything were talking about at the moment? And when it comes down to Voyage- meh - I'll take El Toro, RFII, or Beast ahead of it any day. Coasters that are overhyped lead to higher expectations that are never met.
September 21, 200817 yr Author Isnt that what you like about AE! While you while saying Voyage was boring, you just proved my point about AE being boing although it has a short wait! So thank you Justin for proving my initall argument. Once again case closed.
September 21, 200817 yr This is a discussion forum...the case is never closed... At least not by an ordinary user. It takes a village or a moderator to do that, or sumthin'

September 21, 200817 yr Author Your right Terpy, I will stop saying "case closed" but I think Justin just proved my point, did he not?
September 21, 200817 yr Answer this Vortexfan! If you had only 15 minutes left till' the park closes, and there was a 20 min. wait for AE (unimagianable I know) and a 5 min. Wait for Firehawk with a chance to ride another ride afterwards. Which one would you chose? OK, FOFreak, you phrased that question horribly. Basicly what you asked is, "If the park is closes soon and there is a line for one ride that would take you past closing and a line for another ride that wouldn't take you past closing which would you choose?" You set it up so that you almost HAVE to get a certain answer. By the way, if Firehawk had a 5 min wait and AE had a 20 min wait, I'd choose AE.
September 21, 200817 yr Author Very true, I should of said 5 min. Wait for Firehawk with the oppritunity to ride any other ride besides AE.
September 21, 200817 yr Very true, I should of said 5 min. Wait for Firehawk with the oppritunity to ride any other ride besides AE. Ugh, You know what? If you don't like the AE, that's fine. If you want to start a topic about why people like it, thats fine. If you want to argue and argue and argue about an opinion on a ride's quality, That's Childish.
September 21, 200817 yr Mods should just close this topic.Their no such thing as a "not fun" coaster.Even Top Cats Taxi Jam is still fun when I ride with my little brother.
September 21, 200817 yr Author No actually, this was a social experiment to get you to talk about all the good things about AE. I actually enjoy the scenery that's why I always ride it at least once while I am there. But the truth is that I would rather ride Firehawk then AE but the two can really not be comaped any more than that. I'll solve this with an inequality: G's < Visuals = AE Visuals < G's = Firehawk I like G's so I prefer the Hawk But I don't hate AE either.

September 21, 200817 yr Author Come on, that's not very nice! I might not of takin' the best approach but that was secretly the point of this topic. See my friends are always talking about how much they disliked AE! So now I can show them how everyone else feels about this topic!
September 21, 200817 yr I for one think Voyage is the best coaster I've ridden, which is out of a moderate amount of 92. It offers airtime, tunnels, unpredictable drops, and much much more.

See my friends are always talking about how much they disliked AE! So now I can show them how everyone else feels about this topic! Well you could have just said, "I dislike AE, what do you think?" And not make a debate about it.
September 21, 200817 yr Author Then this topic would become one-sided, which would make it uninteresting.
