The Interpreter
It's quite simple, really. If your friends were your friends, they would come back and join YOU. You have no right to go ahead. You are NOT special. And it doesn't become right just because you ask people to let you go ahead. Even doing that is a distraction. You can wait like everyone else. CoastersRZ
I`ve worked the Rock O Plane at Coney countless times the past two years at Coney. And I have seen numerous people cut in line (usually only cutting in front of six to ten people). However, on a ride like the Rock O Plane, where there are only eight cars, each holding a maximum of two people, that will result in some people having to wait an additional ride cycle. Is that fair to those people who followed the rules and waited their turn to ride the ride? No. I make the people I see cut in line go to the end of the line. And at Coney, its not like any of our lines (usually) are very long anyhow. So they are saving what, thirty seconds to two minutes off of their wait time? Really, that is not that much of a difference. The real sad part is, that I have witnessed this multiple times on the Rock O Plane, when I am looking right at the line and the offenders. Half the time, they try and act innocent like I wasn`t watching them cut in front of people. As a ride op, and a true park enthusiast, it makes me mad when people think that they have the right to cut in line to meet up with their friends. They do not have that right. There are lines for a reason. Just because no one objects to it, does not make it right.

CoastersRZ
Believe me, your fellow park guests will be much happier if your friends came back to you versus you going up to join them. Just think how you would feel if you were one of the ones that people passed to meet up with their friends.

The Interpreter
Not as long as you don't cut in front of other people. Line jumping is getting ahead of people you otherwise would not be, regardless of reason.

MarketingExpress
^Are you referring to once you're in the station? I am having trouble following what you are trying to say.
