Season Pass Question

Featured Replies

I am getting a season pass next year for sure but if I just get a normal pass and decided to go Cedar Point later can I upgrade my pass?

Certainly. Cedar Fair will be most happy to take extra money from you to upgrade at most any time. Be aware, however, that pass processing lines at Cedar Point can be insanely long and very, very slow. Their system is nowhere near as efficient as Kings Island, they do not have as many stations and the employees themselves, though they try, are not as quick and effective as those in pass processing at Kings Island. At least, that's been my experience.

I upgraded from a Gold Pass to a Maxx Pass last year without a problem at KI.

^^ Not sure when you last processed a pass at Cedar Point, but it was much improved last year. They have more cameras now, and since your picture isn't printed on the pass, you don't have to wait for it to be printed.

Yep -- They've upgraded to have Gate Central, the same processing system that Kings Island uses.
