joecartoon
yes. i really need to change my ways so i no longer line jump and this is including any age even if you did it when you where 5 including when you get in line leave then get back in line with your friends/relitive or anyone else. like you are waiting in line for a ride and your friends are waiting for the same ride with you and you go get a soda and you jump back in line
The Interpreter
IF I had done it when I was five, my father would have made sure that, in his words, "I'd have woken up in the middle of next week." Sorry, but I was raised better.
loosecannon
Same here. I never even think of doing it to this day.
Justin_M17
Yeah, I had spent roughly three hours looking for my friend whom I finally found in the line for Vortex as I was passing by, so I hopped the fence to make sure I didn't lose her again >.<
gigacoaster2k
No. Like Terpy said, I was raised better than that. It's a little thing called fairness and respect.
Jamesv7
I answered yes because I do remember waiting for a pretzel and drink when The Beast had food in the line and had to catch up with my step dad.
tigellinus
No. Like Terpy said, I was raised better than that. It's a little thing called fairness and respect. So giga, would leaving the MF queue because all the vending machines were sold out (as with Halloweekends last year) to run to Panda Express for a drink, and then running back and re-joining my friend in line by navigating on the outside of the queue rails be considered LJ'ing?? I should note, I also got some drinks for other people around me who gave me money!
DizzyEatVortex
Only once: I left the line for Crocodile Run to ride Bondi Pipeline, then came back and cut in with my friends. I felt like a bonehead. Sorry.
WooferBearATL
Actually, never. I won't tolerate it happening in front of me and certainly would not do it myself.
RailRider
Never have and never would. I point anyone out that does and I make sure my wife is the 2nd person to report them. Dont jump in front of me. In my opinion, all violaters should be drug out of line, taken out back, and shot...;
Hank
Never! And I have come pretty close to beating the crap out of those who do! Being 300 pounds and 6' 4" I am rather intimidating, so they instantly "respect" me before I blow up. Good move on their parts!
KIlover123
i dont do it because i hate it when people do it in front of me.

I should note, I also got some drinks for other people around me who gave me money! Not to offend you, but yes. It states that on the sign, on the entrance to every ride. The park considers that line jumping. I've seen people removed from the ride and even from the park for doing that, at both KI and CP. They were really cracking down on line jumpers last time I was at KI. And the last time I was at CP, I even saw the employee at the TTD entrance flat out refuse to let anyone back in line who left, no matter what they said! I'd rather not risk it. I grab a water/use the bathroom BEFORE I get in line. Some people just use that as an excuse to try and shove their way to the front of the line. You never know who is trying to meet up with their friends and who is just being an impatient jerk. Unless you have the VIP tour, fast passes, flash passes, speed lane passes, q-bots or whatever parks LEGALLY offer, it is considered line jumping by the park, and I'm not going to disrespect the park or the people around me by doing it. tigellinus
^^Not that I disagree...but it was scorching hot that day, and the vending machines were sold out, AND the night before (Friday) two of the 6 machines were already sold out meaning CP failed to fill them on what was confirmed by Tony Clark as the 5th busiest day of their 07 season...kind of BS if you ask me!! (that they went un-filled!)
RailRider
Wait if that was the 5th busiest day is it not possible the machines were refilled the morning of and by the time you made your way there, they were empty again? So really how do you know they went unfilled?
kiruler102
yes! i have. Guest TombraiderTy
Well it's obvious that almost all of KICentral is lying I've joined friends in lines and left to do something quickly. Just last Friday I left the line for Urgent Scare to use the restroom than returned to my former spot, held by my Dad. In a different environment, I always line-jump during lunch at school. My friend and I even have a system we've developed
gigacoaster2k
Once again, exactly why I buy a drink (or grab a cup of free ice water) somewhere BEFORE I enter the queue.
Guest TombraiderTy
Anybody think the first post should be edited to make clear that line jumping includes re-entering a line for any reason?
gigacoaster2k
Anybody think the first post should be edited to make clear that line jumping includes re-entering a line for any reason? I'll be the first to say yes. I know for a fact that amusement parks do in fact consider that line jumping.
Beast1979
I realize unlike some others that Line jumping is the same thing as Cheating and is wrong. Not yet, Not Now, Not Ever.
Thrill_Biscuit
I honestly can't remember ever line jumping. LJs need to learn some manners.
The Interpreter
But they won't. Line jumpers I have seen seem to think rules only apply to other people. I am sure they totally support the rules that benefit them, but are opposed to any that in any way inconvenience them, even if the cause is fundamental fairness. I honestly believe it is all part of the "me first" attitude so many are nowadays taught at home. "You are my precious little angel, everything you do is perfect, and woe be unto anyone who in any way hurts your precious little psyche." Thrill_Biscuit
^^They are. At one time, it seemed virtually everyone learned manners and common courtesy early on. That's disappearing more and more as people just aren't teaching their kids how to behave in an orderly society (and there are way too many interpretations of what that is exactly). tigellinus
On Behemoth, off to the left right before the stairs was the perfect place to line-jump...no security or employees ever watched that area, and quite frankly, I saw it happen way more times than I was comfortable with!!! Of course, the Canucks do play a little more fast and loose... But hopefully some of you big-talkers will be around if anyone line-jumps for D-back!! Trust me, I won't be afraid to open my big mouth. I may be a small person, and I may be a female, but you can ask any of my friends.. watch out when I get mad.
