gigacoaster2k
It can be at any park. Kings Island: The roar of Drop Tower as it comes back down The sound Delirium makes as it swings through the air The launch on FOF when you're in the station Cedar Point: The roar from Raptor and Mantis The sound of the LIM motors mixed with everyone's scream on the first launch on Wicked Twister The cries of the seagulls overhead The roar of Dragster overhead when you're right by the entrance.. and if you stand right under the entrance, you can feel the ground tremble Walking through Frontier Trail and hearing Millennium roar all around you Magnum's lift hill
CoastersRZ
How about the classic sound of a carousel? Or the whistle that emanates from the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad? Two classic sounds of Kings Island, even thought the Carousel no longer contains music from the classic band organ but rather piped in music. Thrill_Biscuit
Oh, how I miss the band organ on the Carousel. I love the train whistle, the Indiana Jones music at AE, and the clickety-clack of coaster chain dogs throughout the park. Maybe, one day, International Street music will return to sweeping, symphonic grandeur.
MarketingExpress
I like hearing the "Whooosh" sound of the train passing on a steel coaster and the sound of the fountains. But my all time favorite is hearing the nothing in the park after the last guest has left the park after a busy day.
tigellinus
I'm sure Terpy would agree...the sound of El Toro flying over the airtime hills cannot be beat!! It sounds like a low-flying helicopter whizzing by, and it's a sound you don't hear from many other coasters!

RailRider
Well there are many sounds that I enjoy and love at amusement parks, but the sound of the Carousel is truely my favorite. I will take a classic Carousel with organ any day of the week. I think that sound can put a smile on anyones face. Also a close second for sound, but not located in an amusement park is the calliope on the Belle of Louisville. I know completely off topic, but if you are ever in Louisville and have some time to spend, take a ride on the Belle, truly will never forget the experience... PhantomTheater
I also love the sound of a working band organ on a carousel, nothing sounds more amusement park than that. Other sounds i like are Arrow lift hills and breaks; locomotive whistles, bells, and chugs (Dollywood's is the best); a wooden coaster flying by; a wooden coaster's up stops spinning while sitting in the breaks; Geauga Lake's log ride lift; "arms down followed by squealing tires on TTD; the puttering of antique cars; the sound of a hard hit on dodgems; finally the sound of gooing through The Beast's tunnels. DropZone99
I love the how Drop Tower's magnetic brakes sound! I love when Delirium is in full swing and passes threw the loading area. I love the noise of Son of Beast and Firehawk's loud anti roll back system! I love the screaming coming from Viking Fury. I love how the splash of the Royal Fountains sounds. I love the noise of people screaming when Flight of Fear gets launched. I love how Racer sounds when you cross under it entering X-Base. I love the music you here on Crypt. I love pretty much every sound at Kings Island! At Cedar Point i love the noises the seagulls make, i love the roar of the park's B&M's, i love the noises TTD makes. I love the theme song for Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, and Maverick (not Wicked Twister's song though!) There are way too many to type, so that is all i am typing.
