I was wondering if dressing up and adding to the scare factor is ok?

Or just scareing people is allowed.I dont want to get kicked out for just having fun.

Last week was fun just turning around on people and making them jump out of their skin in a sense.

I would love to join the team of scare actors, but i just live to far away to make it for the last 6 to 9 days.

So you mean to say that you can`t make it to KI at all for the remaining six days of Haunt that remain this year?

I just had to.

Well if i did'nt live 3 hours away it would be much easier plus the price of gas would most likely eat up the pay i would get for the night. How much do they pay anyways?I know they pay 1.00 more an hour for late night workers i hear.

No.

But why?Would it make things harder to control or is it because of safety issues? ...

Yes. (I bet you saw that coming). More seriously:

Because the park does NOT want the liability should you do something inappropriate...like touch a guest, mug a guest, rob a guest or park employee or say something very untoward. Other guests are entitled to the safety of knowing the monsters won't touch you and are under the sole control of Cedar Fair, Kings Island and its managers and supervisors. You, on other hand, are not under their control. Finally, to wear a mask in public is illegal in most states. The entertainers are exempt from this, you are not. Children are normally exempt. Again, you are not. Think about this, the public in masks in the park is just an invitation to go in so attired and then rob anything from guests to the park itself.

So, the answer is NO you cannot do that (children can for Howl-O-Fest, though). And for very good reason. Want to scare people at Kings Island? Get a job there.
