Captain Nemo
I am so glad that the bidding money for the first riders goes toward a charity! My own personal opinion has always found the self titled "first rider" to be a pompous act but as long as the money goes for a good cause it does not bother me. Can't wait to see this ride in April. tigellinus
^^Well, nevertheless, as I'm sure many will also point out, there will many "first" riders including employees before any sort of outside public person has the chance to be a "first" rider anyway. That is a correct statement. Universally the team behind building and planning the ride get the official first ride.

sora_chan
I found out that it will be bidders who can afford a shiny nickle indeed. As far as I have been able to tell, there will be companies whom will bid, thus raising more money for charity. I'm okay with this fact too. I don't think the auction will be public. I don't care if I don't get the first ride as long as I get to ride! I think it's going to be a lot of fun no matter.
The Interpreter
I would be very surprised if this charity auction were not open to any and all bidders...after all, the more money raised for charity, the better. I doubt seriously that it won't be open to all to bid.
Braves0511
True...but unless you have some of those spare shiny nickels, it's unlikely a random person can outbid entire companies....
The Interpreter
In this financial environment, I wouldn't count on many companies putting in bids for roller coaster seats at a local park...
Firehawk07
Maybe Snoopy and Kinzel's Chocolate Pool Adventure! (I can't be the only one who noticed Fort Kinzel at FoF) I noticed that a long time ago (2007 Season) and i also wondered... i'm suprised that it is just being metioned. The Interpreter
Just as a recap, Fort Kinzel replaced Fort (Jane) Cooper...and did so only after pointed references by a poster here (I don't quite remember who, tee hee) kept pointing out how odd it was Kings Island still had a fort named for a former CEO of the former owner.
