Mr. Coastermania
2008 Was a great season and that season pass was well worth it. 2008 saw me meet some new frieds and some scary dead ones. I braved a few new rides like the Son of Beast, invertago,Vortex,Flight of Fear and flight deck. With those rides under my belt,i cant wait for Diamondback.Bring it on. After fearing sonny for so long, now it is my favorite. On saturday i rode it 5 times.4 OUT OF 5 TIMES WERE WALK ONS. The Beast was fun like always.I got to lose some weight. Two clicks was tight and rough. Invertago was awesome. My be a bit dizzy but i enjoyed it. Not sure if the cold makes some of the steel coasters bumpy but Vortex was a bit rough on 11/1 but heck i still love that ride. Great shows all year long and i just loved ggw.WOLFMAN is cool, and the countess had me under her spell. To all the ride ops and entertainers as well as management and the kic members thanks for a great 2008 and enjoy your off season cause 2009 is not to far away and i know it is going to be even better. Any hints on what 2009 will bring us(please hint tell us)

hamoperator
2007 was fun, 2008 was great and now mom and dad are dealing with Peanut and the other kids crying "no more KI". We hope KI does the "Buy Now Pay Later". Yes KI that makes a big difference to some families; please consider doing it again.
Beast1979
Any hints on what 2009 will bring us(please hint tell us) I've heard some crazy things going around! Diamondback is a no-brainer, but I've heard wild things like Vortex Finally being removed, The Beast's entrance not only being redone but the entire Beast area getting a complete make over, I've heard the train is going to be revived and revamped, and even some say the retheme of Nick U will take place this offseason instead of next! Only Time Will Tell......

RailRider
Beast1979, you forgot about Viking Furry and possibly Flight Deck getting the KO. I thought we were suppossed to drop The Vortex rumor, glad to see your coming around to my side... Hmm isnt the giant B&M Hyper enough for 2009? CoastersRZ
If you rode The Vortex on closing weekend, you might have noticed that they are in the process of applying some fresh paint to the station.

RailRider
If you rode The Vortex on closing weekend, you might have noticed that they are in the process of applying some fresh paint to the station. Good to hear, the station could definately use it. Although Im sure with the abuse it gets from guests that could be an anual thing.

italianchef
As some of you may know, I was laid off with a severance package back in January and STILL haven't found a new full-time job yet. I began the 2008 KI season in my 1st temp gig of the year, and KI has closed with me in my 7th temp gig of the year. The economy is bad, which is why I haven't landed a new full-time job yet. Thank God for temping, which has provided me with the ability to stay out of debt. I pray that when the 2009 season commences, I shall be in a new and great full-time job. Happy Winter, Italian Chef
CoastersRZ
RailRider, this is more than just an annual touch up of the paint in the high traffic areas. In fact, they painted the roof of the station a couple weeks ago (same color). And Hamoperator, you are in luck! You can buy your 2009 season pass to Kings Island now, and pay nothing until April of 2009! Visit the Kings Island season pass page for more information.
