The Interpreter
Please remember this is not a political forum. Comments should probably be limited to the effects on the industry and its customers and would-be customers. And other states and localities do tax park tickets, some quite highly (the effects on Dollywood, Kennywood and the New Jersey parks, in particular, come immediately to mind; and Mason has considered it): http://www.timesheraldonline.com/ci_11562680
IndyGuy4KI
Another good reason to get season passes! IndyGuy4KI
The Interpreter
And yet another reason that a Six Flags pass purchased in New Jersey costs quite a bit more than one bought at, say, Kentucky Kingdom. Then again, one can get season wide parking at Great Adventure, but not at Kentucky Kingdom. You can also do that at SFOG, but not until the park opens for the season (yet another reason Terpy carries a SFGAd season pass..)
