gigacoaster2k
The forecast for Mason on Saturday is showing as sunny with temps in the high 20s to low 30s. Trust me, I've been monitoring it for days.
IBEW_Sparky
That is all fine and good, but sunny and calm on Saturday does not change the fact that there will be 6 to 8 (or more) inches of snow on the ground surrounding the D-Back construction site. How will this affect the planned tour?

coaster_junky
maybe we could get sarah palin to shoot off the starting rifle?
PhantomTheater
Why is the carousel not covered up to protect it from the elements?
violakat03
Why is the carousel not covered up to protect it from the elements? I wondered that myself. I'd think the horses would be fragile. I'm actually glad there will be snow during the tour. Makes it feel even more unusual and the coasters look so graceful with the blanket of white. RingMaster
maybe we could get sarah palin to shoot off the starting rifle? Right, and then PETA will come knocking on our doors asking why there are dead deer lying around the park grounds 'cause someone got a little trigger happy.... CoastersRZ
Well, the horses are made out of wood. And they are painted, so the paint provides some protection from the elements. Additionally, the Carousel building provides some protection to the actual carousel from the elements.
