Beastfreak Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I have 4 Fearfest shirts in two different designs. 3 of the black ones with the glow in the dark ink in Medium, Large, and X-tra Large then I also have a white one I got last year as a door prize for the end of year food party. Its white with black ink instead of the glow in the dark and has LaRosa's and the sponsors on the back. The first year Fearfest was open we also got this clear ID holder and paper Name Badge with the fearfest logo on it that we wore around our necks. I still have that somewhere around as well. Quote

Beastfreak Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 Probably because the park got cheap on wardrobe this year and didn't want to buy a bunch of new shirts to just give out again. When I started in 98 they used to give us cool gifts during employee apreciation week, but I don't remember getting anything this year. In 98 when it was hotter than crap we all got huge insulated mugs that said "I beat the heat in 98" and had The Beast logo on it so we could use it to drink water and stuff. Quote

Besides, those shirts are for us, the people who stay until 2am to make sure the rides are clean and ready to go for the next day. So it's not like you "deserve" one anyways. Quote

We volunteer ourselves to stay up at all hours of the night to make the tall rod go up and down and we clean up after all the jackasses that trash our line. So yea i think we deserve the shirt, even though we do get a payraise for fearfest! Quote
SOB_TOM Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 Only leaving at 2AM? No, the last day of FearFest I was over at TR and we stopped cycling at 2:30AM. I got home about 4. Shoulnt have left the park cause I was back up there at 9:15 for an early. Quote

It sucks even more when you work from 9:15 am to 8 pm then head over to another ride and stay there from 8 to 430 and have to get up at like 8 am and repeat the whole cycle!
