Most Years Worked

Featured Replies

Going on my 4th season at PKI but I previously worked at another park for 7 seasons which shall remain nameless. For those of you that know me, you know which park I'm talking about.

The above park that remains nameless, is actually a decent park, I've been there a few times. They have a couple good rides, but they need to increase their saftey procedures, and have better Guest Preception.

12 years, all marketing. I have had the priveledge of Marketing some of the park's most well known rides. Including Adventure Express, Face Off, S.O.B, Tomb Raider, and many others.

The one I am thinking of does have a carreer, but it is NOT at Kings Island. She is a teacher. She only works the job there during the summer mostly.

Yeah we all know who that is? :)

"Now, John......when did they turn The Racer backwards???"

LOL

Marketing eh? MarketingExpress are you PKI chat's special guest on Saturday?

Well if your part of Marketing I have a question, will you be marketing the third 2003 ride be it anything from Spongebob to another flat.

So far I have worked 2 full seasons at PKI. All of them in merch. Right now i'm going into my 3rd season. And If I don't get my Asst Supe position by the end of Preseason, I might move to rides. Gotta make more cash somehow...

More money is always the altimatum. I would work trash if I had to if I got paid good enough. MarketingExpress, do you know when we will get info on the famous 3rd ride. As much as everyone thinks it's SBSP, I don't.

I doubt this person is this saturdays guest, but you never know. This person says they've worked in the park in marketing for 12 years now. Remember Mr. Siebert would've been 18 than , he will turn 31 at the beginning of this season.(Jeff Sieber was born on the day the park opened to the public). Also if memory serves me correctly Mr. Siebert worked at another park prior to PKI.

Good point, I didn't really think about his age. It could be some lower level people in marketing. The chat for Saturday is being rescheduled by the way, Jeff will be at East Coaster Con on Sat.

The third attractions is merely a minor "Pay to Play" like rock climbing or lazer tag. A seasonal attraction. One or two years maximum.

The person never said they were in marketing for 12 years at Kings Island. They said 12 years total, so you never know.

Technically Jeff Siebert isn't in the marketing department. He works in the Public Relation Department, as a Midia relations Manager.

Actually if you read between the lines he/she did say they worked at PKI for 12 years.

If they marketed Adventure Express, that means they would've had to been in the park since the early 1990's.

I don't think PKI will be adding another upcharge for a while, atleast I hope. Hopefully they will anounce soon after ECC so I can find out if it's Scooby.

Do you want white bread or wheat bread?

Now that is funny, I remember you talking about that.

Technically speaking, MarketingExpress could have still marketed those older rides while working at another Park. Its a long shot, but it is possible. I know MarketingExpress personally and it is not Saturday's special guest, but thats not to say that he does not know just as much info about the park as Saturday's special guest.

Thats true ship6637 if the person worked in the Paramount orginization, but if I recall correctly Jeff Siebert previously worked at a non Paramount owned park, in which case if it were Siebert would not market those older rides

Kings Island was not a Paramount Park in 1990 so ya never know. Just incase you didn't see the chat is cancelled just to let you know ahead of time.

Actually Jeff Siebert is indeed in the Marketing Department. Yes he works in Public Relations, but that is a division of Marketing. Believe me I should know.
