February 15, 200917 yr Every Valentine's Day White Castle takes reservations and serves special meals to couples (and often their children, too). Since my financial resources are not what they once were, I made a reservation to White Castle and took my wife there tonight for Valentine's Day - and we brought our son. All tables were ganished with white table clothes and candles. Heart shapes were placed on the bathroom doors. A hostess greeted and sat us. She provided us with paper menus and waited on us just like in a real restaurant, taking drink orders before food orders. The menu offered the same fast food as their normal prices, which we ordered. The food was served to us at our table, and we were provided with free ice cream for dessert. Plus White Castle provided my wife and all the other ladies with carnations. It wasn't my fanciest or most romantic Valentine's Day. But it was interesting. Best regards, Italian Chef
February 15, 200917 yr a. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your lovely wife. b. White Castle IS a real restaurant...unlike many of the themed casual restaurants, White Castle is actually just what it appears to be.
February 15, 200917 yr That is really cool, and a great idea for those who haven't got the financial means to have a fancy dinner outing. If I liked White Castle at all (I was born hating it - it's a long story) this would be a very viable option, but I'll just be content with spending time with my husband.
February 15, 200917 yr I heard about this. But I had no idea they did all of that. More plus points for White Castle for me.
February 15, 200917 yr I've always thought that unless you're getting a plain burger slider or slider with cheese that most things on their menu were NOT actually that cheap.
February 15, 200917 yr Chickfila in our area did the same thing yesterday. i didnt go to it, but i went inside and got a drink and saw it and thought it was pretty neat with the fancy tables and service and everything!
February 15, 200917 yr Glad you had a good time. If I had a date and could eat White Castle without getting heartburn, I would do the same thing!!
