Given the current state of the industry, you are going to see more and more of this kind of cost cutting. Would you rather have spiffy, very expensive animation and no ride or a new ride and not so spiffy, not so expensive animation? Again, expect more and more cost cutting. Companies' survivals in many cases depend on it.
