Which Park Do You Want Cedar Fair to Buy?

Featured Replies

Of course Cedar Fair won't be in the park-purchasing business for a few years sfter this whole recession thing is over and they pay off their debt from the Paramount Chain. So what do you guys think?

I personally hope they buy Six Flags Fiesta Texas. First of all I love the park, and I would love for Cedar Fair to have somewhere to go to in my home state, and with Six Flags's financial chrisis, I don't think they would put down a deal.

But enough of me, what do you guys think?

I think Cedar Fair will be selling parks. Perhaps quite a few of them. And I doubt Six Flags lasts this year. That being the case, I see NO way Cedar Fair will be buying Fiesta Texas. Quite frankly, I suspect the company that owns Kennywood may well end up owning quite a few Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks before this is all over.

I could see CF selling KGA and Dorney. I could also see them buying Great Adventure or Magic Mountain if the opportunity arose.

CedarPointer, who could see that opportunity happening if the chain that numbers its flags had a hard, rocky failure.

Magnum sinking has more plausibility at this point!!
