dec06twins
If you can't use your passes, are they transferable to someone else if they aren't processed yet??
The Interpreter
In a word, no.
tigellinus
^^They are at SF if you jump through the Shapiro-drawn hoops!!
The Interpreter
Mr. Shapiro does not run Cedar Fair...nor is he likely ever to do so.
tigellinus
^^Despite his cameo appearance in Sandusky in 07, eh?!
BoddaH1994
That's another question in which you should probably call Kings Island at 1-800-288-0808 to get an official answer.
The Interpreter
And, if they tell you that you can, get a name to confirm it, thank them profusely, and do the transfer as quickly as possible.

Thank you for the info....I'll call a few times just to check!!
The Interpreter
Once is sufficient. They track calls. Calling more than once fishing for an answer you want to hear is not a good idea. And if you have a reason the policy should be different in your case, be honest and tell them.
nhimes90
They let me switch my gold pass from my mom's name to mine. They did, however, charge a $50 rollover fee, but that was because it was an '08 pass.
PKIVortex
In my situation I bought a pass for my Mom back in November, however my Mom passed away shortly after that. However the pass hasn't been processed yet, I called KI and they said they could transfer it to someone else. So that's nice that they are letting me do that. ohiomom28
I purchased a pass this year that hasn't been processed yet and they told me I could just white out the name and bring it in to be processed with whoever I wanted to have it. I haven't tried it yet though.

The Interpreter
Good. I am glad you asked. I suppose this is a good time to emphasize on things like this, it is always best to call the park. I really didn't think they'd do this (and in the past, they have not). Kudos to Cedar Fair and Kings Island. Let us know how it goes! XGatorHead 8904
In the Paramount days we had no problem transferring the pass to someone else if it hasn't been processed already. But that was under different park ownership... Good to see they've continued/reinstated this policy. Things happen during the off-season that cannot be foreseen.
