I have training this Saturday from 1-5:30. This will be really routine for me now, considering the fact that I've done this twice before...

What about you associates? When do you go train? Is it the same date or is it different? Need input....

Saturday, 10-4, readying the store for a large amount of people to be trained and then training people. Get to leave at 4 because of a school dance, but my associates are stuck there till 5:30

Can anyone confirm the date and time for FoFZ training? I have heard 4/5 from 1:30 - 5:00, but as I said, I never got the letter. If I don't get a response tonight, I'll call the rides office tomorrow to confirm. This would just free up some hassle (and time to study for exams!)

This question may sound really dumb but then again i am just a dumb 11 year old. What is training, and what do those little control panels that operate the ride look like? thanks

Don't you have to be 13 to post on the site?

**edit**I just did a little research about the topic and according to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 Im correct.

Since no one would answer your question, I will. Training is just that, training. We get hands-on training on our particualr ride(s). We learn what to do in certain scenarios, how to properly operate the ride, ETC. As for the control box, nothing spectacular about them. Just a metal box with buttons and lights on them! biggrin.gif

For food, all the newbies have orientation on a day prior to in-stand, and then everybody comes for in-stand. At least I think it works that way. On the actual day of in-stand, I think we just clean up and learn anything we may have forgotten or that changed. Do you have to be in uniform though? Someone from food, like beastfreak, could you answer that?

For Characters and Escorts We show up, get the costumes fitted to us, spend most of the day learning the do's and dont's and if the weathers nice we take it outside and try out the walkiing skills of the newbs.......

I was supposed to train today (well yesterday), but I was at a robotics competition (got home at 1230 in the morning) so I couldnt go. Im hoping to get trained before the park opens tho!

PS. FOF, what did they say about when we get schedules? I have a couple of dates I need off.

Don't worry about asking so many questions, its cool. I was in your spot at one time too. On your training, you goto your ride, you should see your sups and crew some place close to your ride. You will hardly ever even see PkiU once the season starts.
