Amber
Do this coaster go upside down? If so how many times? I want my 8 year old daughter to ride it but she doesn't want to go upside down.

It does not go upside down. It is more of a famly oriented coaster rather than a really thrilling one but it is fun.
crazypkikid2005
Definitely a great coaster for families to ride together, be sure to take her on it if she's tall enough!
Amber
Thanks for the quick response. She is 52 inches tall so she is definitely tall enough. My 6 year old son on the other hand wants to ride all of the thrill rides but is only 44 1/2 inches tall. I feel sorry for him, he is very adventurous but can't ride any of the bigger rides. Am I mistaken or did Adventure Express and The Racers used to have a shorter height requirement way back in the day?

Amber
I wonder why they changed it? My son is dying to ride a "big" ride.
The Interpreter
They changed it due to changing insurance and state regulatory requirements...Size is used largely as a proxy for age/maturity. There are some rides where physical size is the real determinant, on others a certain maturity is required...so that riders will not freak and TRY to get out... kiruler102
If you are worried about a ride and you are not for sure what the ride features, either go to the Kings Island website and look there, OR if you want to see the ride in action i would recommend going to youtube and look for that ride POV. That should help you out alot by how the ride looks and what it does throughout.
Colonel_SoB_fan
but you can't see anything in the tunnel on youtube so that wouldn't necessary answer her question.

HMMM are you recommending that we go to youtube and look at point of views that are clearly taking without park's permission which is a mistaminor? I don't think we should be supporting that kind of thing here.
kiruler102
ya but you cant see anything in the tunnel in real life. Quick response. You go down a hill with fog, and quick turn and a finale with water i mean a empty stream where they used to have water.
flightoffear1996
Actually you can see plenty in the tunnel. YOu can see the car in front of you or the track. The exit sign the light at the end of the tunnel.

I don't think we should be supporting that kind of thing here. If you search for "official POV" you will find a plethora of mounted-camera official POVs for just about every coaster out there. To me, those are the only ones worth watching anyway because then you don't have to listen to stupid comments and deal with the person trying to shoot the POV not being able to hold their camera still, resulting in seeing more ground and sky than actual ride. Here is the official mounted-camera POV that was released by the park.
Atomheartmother616
That ride is very tame but a nice unique experience. But IMO a one trick pony.
sgshredder33
This ride would be a great first coaster. I personally think The Racer would be the best first coaster, so that you are used to getting beaten around.
The Interpreter
Beaten? On Racer? Heaven help you if you ever ride Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure in New Jersey, The Georgia Cyclone at Over Georgia, Avalanche at Timber Falls Adventure Golf in the Dells: Hellcat, Puma, J2, Tsunami or whatever they are calling it this week at Clementon in New Jersey, Tremors at Silverwood in Idaho...or the granddaddy of them all, The Cyclone at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York City. I won't even mention any formerly looping wooden coasters, any mean streaks or giants in Texas.
