Roarbot Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Anyone know if there are plans for the Haunt this Oct? Calander shows hours open in Oct., but is it on for sure? Quote
StalkerChick Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Its for sure. Do we know what "for sure" is the new attraction this year? even tho i know for sure that its not Doll Factory goes to pout under a picnic table and play with her makeup and dolly's) Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Typically the press release for Halloween Haunt containing details of the attractions is released around Labor Day. Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 At an off-season event, however, Don Helbig did announce that Redbeard's Revenge would be relocated to the pathway formerly occupied by The Worksite. That's the only attraction information released so far, to my knowledge. Quote
Zorba Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 There was a big banner for the Haunt up in Action Zone yesterday. Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 ^That banner has been in Action Zone for years. It moved location though- it was closer to Delirium last year. Quote
Zorba Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 ^ I know, but I think it being up proves they are planning on having it again this year Quote
paperg Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I myself like the Haunt but this is just the first of the season at KI. Please don't rush the season away... Quote
Oldschool75 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I myself like the Haunt but this is just the first of the season at KI. Please don't rush the season away... I agree. The park is still has the summer activities to promote before they get to the fall. Quote
kiruler102 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 they are for sure having it this year since it is on the back of the park map. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Anyone know if there are plans for the Haunt this Oct? Calander shows hours open in Oct., but is it on for sure? Yes. Diamondback FOF, who just HAD to. But yeah, September 26 seems really late to start Haunt this year. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I thought that seemed a week or two late. Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Personally, I think the Haunt poster rocks... And if you were wondering if Haunt is included in an '09 pass... Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Personally, I think the Haunt poster rocks... I wonder why Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Why, is that Ryan being 'featured' in the poster? Quote
goofywdw Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 ^Which one are you!? I have never seen you in person so I don't know. Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I'm the one who's in the top-middle of the poster. Quote
goofywdw Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 That's what I thought but wasn't sure. Now I can say I know who is in that poster! Quote
skaterboy22101 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Sure is. Is that what it still says, or have they changed it to Haunt? Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Sure is. Is that what it still says, or have they changed it to Haunt? It's been changed to Haunt, but the photo's the same. That just happens to be the image I found in our photo gallery. Quote
CFTTDDB Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 If and when KI decides to retire the poster for a new one, would you think they would give that to you if you asked for it, or mabye as a gift to you for your work on this site as well as the help you have givin to KI over the years? Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 If and when KI decides to retire the poster for a new one, would you think they would give that to you if you asked for it, or mabye as a gift to you for your work on this site as well as the help you have givin to KI over the years? When they switched from the Fearfest poster to the Haunt poster, the Fearfest one was very unceremoniously thrown in a dumpster - as was reported to me by a friend of mine who worked there during the offseason. My guess would be that this would would meet a similar fate. Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 ^I've never understood why the park simply dumps things like that. The park could auction them off on eBay and donate the money to a charity, such as A Kid Again. The program's debut would get the park some good media attention and the money would help out the charities. Quote
StalkerChick Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Personally, I think the Haunt poster rocks... lol you ruined it for me ryan!! i was gonna say.... the poster rawks.... except for the wierd creepy kid in the back :insert angel smily here that this site doesnt have but really needs to get: Quote
rotag Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 now i know why the poster always draws my attenion. i knew i seen those faces before. Quote

Namely all the old props that used to reside in the Paramount Story I wonder how much money they could raise just for auctioning off the Enterprise starship or Forrest's bench... Quote
