Ki Man
Hey doods. So Kings Island got this new ride, Diamondback. It's pretty awesome. It looks very pretty, the lines move quickly...even with a two train op. Diamondback has lots of airtime, and a very...very steep drop that might rival Millennium Force. Does it live up to the hype and expectations of a custom B&M hyper? YES. Does it excede the hype and expectations? ...maybe. I got about 10 rides, front seat...back seat, and everything in between. It's a front seat ride. But the backseat is pretty darn good, too. Any negatives? While most people talk about the trims, I'll throw something else in there. -Trim and MCBR do suck, but they don't take much away. -To me, especially when comparing to Goliath SFOG...the helix and the hammerhead seem weak. Goliath, I was PLASTERED into my seat...but Diamondback just kind of twirls you around. Fun? Sure. Outstanding element? Eh. I think it's a top 10 ride, I'd put Maverick over it, but I'm not ready to say anything else! It's a fantastic ride that Kings Island has been in need for. There's B&M floater air and surprise!!! OMFG!!! I'm going to fall out of my seat!!!!! air! Onto the photos! I know they kind of suck....it was raining half the time. Yes....Diamondback + Rain = Ouch. One other cool thing was that I saw a guy wearing a B&M hat...so I thought, "Where else could you get a B&M hat..besides B&M!" So I walked up to the guy and asked if he was from B&M, and he was. I told him it was cool to meet him and great job on a fantastic coaster! I'll be updating pictures throughout tonight! RUN EVERYONE....RUN TO Diamondback!!! It's 11AM..and slightly rainy. About 65* ....and I'm giggling like a little girl. First train of the day. I spy a KIC dude. It's a big hill, but the lift is FAST! Ohhhh....the station...I'M INSIDE IT Very back....ride side...YES! My ride is here! This is my OH!!!! face. This is like....God's hand guiding you to the station. And about....4 rides later, I decided to take a break. Cresting the hill.... OMG THIS IS WAY STEEPER THAN IT LOOKS B&M, thank you for this hill.

Diamondback FOF
Was the park very crowded today? Also, was the entire DB queue filled?
Justin_M17
Was the park very crowded today? Also, was the entire DB queue filled? To say the least. I believe I saw the line at it's longest as it snaked around to the Larosas in Rivertown.
Ki Man
^Yesterday? Or today? Today it was about....45 minutes to an hour at most. But I kind of ditched my uncle and went to Diamondback all day! Single rider line works so well. Thanks for listening, Don!
Diamondback FOF
Yeah, I was talking about today at the private event. Was there a wait in a temporary queue, or just the normal queue. If it was just the normal queue, then yeah, the SRL would be nice. It'd be a pretty much walk on for DB. How were other waits at the park? Ki Man
The pictures aren't fuzzy...it's the rain you're seeing  I'm sorry these look so bad! Lot's of red steel allll over the place. Shield your eyes! Diamondback's spitting venom! Hold, please. Mm.....floatyness. You really feel the speed coming out of the ravine. Half Poncho Half Army dude is unsure of his riding experience. Yeah, it's prettty much likeee that. ALMOST 90* DEGREESE You've got a bit more of free falling to do. Annndddd now you're at ground level. Hai Jared!!!! You're so right about this hill. It's awesome. Diamondback likes to slither allll over Rivertown. It's so pretty. Even on a cloudy day. Here's what happens after the second hill...and until the airtime hills. This part is all sorts of amazingness. Twisty forces, airtime pop, then drop into the ravine. I think....I THINK...Fry took a shot similar to this up at Behemoth. I'm not sure if it was him though, but thanks for the inspiration! Mr. Redhood is NOT happy. He better like out of midcourse airtime. Diamondback, you can kick my ass out of the seat alll day! OH YES! May I please have another? Car three is thinking...."GRRR I'm a scary bear!!!" Everyone..quick! Make a squirrel face! UGHHH I GOT THE VENOM IN ME EYES! You spin my head right round right round... This is MY oh!!!! face. Personal space, plz Diamondback. When ya go down down, when ya gooo.... Cha-Ching! My, what funky patterened clothes you have! This better be an acceptable amount of wetness... Wierd angle. Hey! Check out that popular dood! I'm a turtle...riding a snake! Chhhhaaaaa ching!!!
